I sold it myself via an auction for low $xx a couple days after I get the decline email, no more than a few days after that it's live on BB pending logo. I have all the emails, etc saved.

Yeah, strange.

I'm looking at new owner's portfolio to see if there's other names on BB.

Not OK. That should not happen in such a short timespan. I hope you are compensated and that BB amends review routines.

Wow-you need to see who owns it on BB and in the Whois. This is serious. Please post the results here and the name. Thank you.

I don't want to put it out there until there's a explanation. I let Michael know which name it is though.

Please wake up-you got F-----. Because of your post everyone here is now going to go back and check every single reject from BB that they then sold for a very cheap price-everyone. Good luck to you.

So you are letting the fox investigate what happened in the hen house? Really? Is your allegiance to your peers in this group, or BB. Depending on how that shakes out, there could be some significant conflicts of interest going on, and the integrity of BB could be questioned. Again, that's IF there was something wrong, but the only way to know for sure is to post the name and let people on here investigate and decide for themselves. Otherwise, people will assume the worst.

Well before you guys call for the lynch mob, I can say that I found out the owner of the domain also has names listed on BR, and Namerific - so I think that can put the majority of your conspiracies to rest but I do think there needs to be further dissection of the whole review process so everyone knows they're getting a fair chance and to avoid situations like this.

As I said I'll post an update to clear it up since I brought it up...but give it a second, okay? :)

I can assure everyone this was an honest mistaken and the name in question has been removed from BB. We are working on the review/submission system to make sure this doesn't happen in the future.

Might as well clear the air-was it you Michael that owned the name in question? Thank you.

Fair enough. With 17000 names something like this is bound to happen. Hopefully it works out for everyone concerned. Thanks for the reply.

Guys... if I may say something here!
Every business in this world is not perfect and it will never be
BB is no exception, they have issues and they will continue to! I personally am not a 100% satisfied with everything there and I wrote the longest post around this earlier. HOWEVER, I see that some of us here are addressing Michael in a very negative way! Do you expect him to try to satisfy us, while we are accusing him continuously?
And some of you now, will say I am saying so coz I sold 2 names in 2 weeks on BB... I paid more than 30K for my domains at BB, so 2K is nothing, and I am not a 100% satisfied, but I will STOP addressing Michael that I personally did, and you all should do the same! Lets give the guy much more respect... the one he deserves!

Thanks...

Yup.

I think it was just a mixup where the domain was rejected then accepted right after when it was re-submitted. It's possible.

So, I can only assume that the name may have slipped by the first time or maybe it was someone else who approved it? Who knows? Would have been nice to add that $2200 name to my portfolio though, took me a while to find it.

It just makes me wonder how many other names I hunted for could've gotten approved the second time around.

Just sharing a BrandBucket Experience - Like the name of the thread says. Not all of them will be perfect, but it'll make it a better marketplace.

I asked them to take a second look at about I think about 6 or 7 so far-that I really thought should be approved (dont we all) anyway they did look at every request and did approve two of them that are now published-I should add that's about 7 out of 200 I asked them to look at again-not every reject.

First off, please don't tell me what I should do. Make a suggestion if you want, but you haven't earned the right to tell me what to do.

Second, respect is earned. Did it ever occur to you that you don't have all the pieces of the puzzle here? So to assume you do, and then judge how someone else should behave is both arrogant and ignorant, a very special dichotomy. Even worse, it makes you a fanboi.

Lastly, all I said was that it didn't seem wise to let someone with a vested interest in the outcome be the only investigator. That's common sense, and honestly if i was Margo, I would have insisted on that transparency, if it were my company. That isn't a reflection on Michael, its simply protecting your interest and allowing the process to remain objective.

On the PGA tour-in a foursome if there's a ruling the other three players are there to "Protect the field" Same thing applies here-it's not a big deal.
