Bodis links cycle back to landing page?

So I decided to give bodis a try. I made a custom landing page and things look ok. However, when I click on any of the links and go to the next page, when I click on a link there, it goes back to the original landing page instead of going to the actual destination.

That's not normal right? I already emailed support, so I'm just waiting on a response. Anybody else experience this with bodis?

In case you don't Know that's called "click fraud". That second click you made is against the TOS of Bodis. You should refrain from doing that.

if you mean the search links that means your ip is banned by the ad provider I believe. I clicked on a search term and it brought up ads as expected.

Cheers,

Never ceases to amaze me. Why would you click on your own links?

So that I can see if it works, maybe?

Geez Devil Dog. Have a little tact will ya? In case you didn't know, I am a newbie at this. I apologize for my ignorance, if that make ya feel better. I've parked my domains at other places and never had this "click fraud" prevention happened to me.

To the others, thanks for the info.

Hi badtziscool, I also had this problem last time. It was due to my Zone Alarm firewall. After I switched off my ZA firewall, I can see the ads when I click on the keywords.

Tact is using common sense and knowing that clicking on your own links will inflate your payout or label you as a scammer attempting to bilk the system.

I don't understand..
what's wrong in clicking the search terms on the navigation.. the ads come inside them and clicking on those is what results in a click fraud right? Clicking on the search terms and seeing what ads are appearing would help you in selecting the proper terms to display and improve your optmization.. this is what I think.. unless those search terms itself are ads which right now am doubtful of.

a friend of mine is experiencing similar problems of clicks landing back on the index page..

No problem in clicking on your left navigation links. The problem is the next step, where the ads appear. Don't click on those ads. That is a NO NO! That is click fraud!
Thats pretty straigh forward to understand!

Ok Devil_Dog. I'm guessing you've had a bad experience with fraudulent clickers at one point or another. Hence the bitterness.

If you've never clicked on your own link just once just to see if the new parking service you're using even works, then you're just flat out lying. I've never used bodis before. I don't know if it's a legit. I'm new to this whole domain thing, so I'm just being cautious. I don't want to get into something and be screwed in the rear just because I didn't watch where I stepped. And especially now when more ppl are reporting problems with bodis, I'm sure I'm not the only one clicking on my own links to see if the service is still working.

My intent was never to fraudulently click on my own links. My intent was not malicious, yet you've already labeled me as a fraud.

Anyways... Now that I've used bodis, I'm liking it a lot. You can easily create custom landing pages and even add custom text and info so that your visitors can have something meaningful to read and keep them on your page a bit longer.

This forum has really provided me with a good knowledge base and it has also reaffirmed to me that there are unhelpful people everywhere.

First of all, welcome to namepros!

Second, please understand that "don't-click-on-your-own-ads" have been discussed here and at other forums ad nauseam.

Let's just chalk it up as lessons-learned and focus on making some legit money!
