Hi Guys

I need some help with Afternic sales page

I am new to using Afternic ... though I am not a big fan of their UI but my parked domains are getting good exposure with their premium network integration.

Cut to the chase.

I have listed around 20 of my domains on Afternic, Parked and with a BIN price.

But when I type the domain name in the browser I am seeing the Landing page with Ads but I dont see the Price I l listed

I there a way to see the Landing Page display the BIN price I set ?

I guess I explained my concern correctly

your help is appreciated .

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Yeah, I noticed the same thing. When I un-parked the domains, and just pointed them to the Afternic listing, that's when I saw my landing page with the BIN.

My guess is that you can't have your cake and eat it too. Either you park the domain and give over the prime space to ads, or you don't park and use the Afternic landing page that includes BIN.

Example:

Guys now I need the same help with Uniregistry / Domain Name Sales

I have parked majority of my domains with Urinregistry / DNS and also listed them for sale on their market place

Now the question is How do I find the direct link to the domain landing page
(not the parked ad page)

similar to this https://www.afternic.com/domain/itgo.co

You have to set BIN price for each domain (bulk change for as many as you want).
Now you have to pick sales lander, not park under the domains settings.
Also, you could do bulk change too for the whole portfolio. It is very easy and fast process once you get used to it.

Domains without BIN will have make offer landers.

Thanks to everyone for the advice above.
Is it just me or are the BIN landers for Afternic really slow.

Like for example - https://www.afternic.com/domain/itgo.co
Takes around 5 seconds to load for me whereas the parked page with ads takes around 2 seconds. I've tried testing a ton of domains and they all seem to load real slow to the BIN sales pages.

Are others finding the same as 5 seconds to load is going to lose a ton of sales IMO.
Gtmetrix.com also seems to show over 4 seconds to load - https://gtmetrix.com/reports/www.afternic.com/2pEi1nGA

That is Afternic, nothing to do about it.

So do you experience the same as me on this?

It's pretty significant when sales landers take that long to load, sales will be lost so may be worth considering my own landers which I can control the speed of.

About the fact that Afternic doesn't show your BIN price on parked pages but instead just a phone number or a form to inquire...

I remember reading somewhere that based on their data, domains tend to sell better if the price is not shown immediately. Go figure.

Might be basic human psychology... If you agree (or make a commitment) to something, i.e. making that phone call, filling up that form etc., it's slightly more likely that you eventually agree to the sales price as well.

FYI, I don't like it either...

Yes, I have experienced the same for all my domains with Afternic landers. It seems to me all Afternic pages load as slow as mine so that's it.
I don't like it sales wise too, but had some succes recently with them and decided to give them a chance.

Thanks for Bringing it to my attention Buddy ... I will inform the same to Afternic team and see what they says.

nope.. it's not quite it

afternic offers 2 types redirect.. one for contact form only
the othr is to actual listing.. with bin if u have bin set.. and makeoffer only if u got no bin

goes like this:

https://www.afternic.com/forsale/ezyt.com

https://www.afternic.com/domain/ezyt.com

now I have no problem with either of those.. but the bin one is a bit slow like someon esaid.. plus I decided I had neough of afternic putting my listings in review each time I update them pricewise etc (sometimes the review lasts weeks and somtimes its just forever).. PLUS they don't do adult domains... so all in all.. to me this means I can't securely put ALL my domains into one place.. so instead of having bits and pieces here and there.. I decied to sstick to bodis landers in the end.

but hey hope this helps anyone who wants to be with afternic
cheeers

That review you've mentioned is really annoying. Few months ago I decided I had enough of it and sent a complaint ticket to their support.
They managed to solve all current issues, but to my surprise I had none since then. I listed maybe 100 domains (different registrars, different time etc) since than and none in review. They were approved instantly!
Don't know what the change they did, but what a relief!!

I was talking about Afternic parked pages, not redirects, forwards. Afternic parked page always redirects to your first link, i.e. "Get the price by filling the form" -page. Yes, you can forward your domains where ever you like... Btw, please correct me if I'm wrong, i.e. if there's option somewhere to redirect Afternic PARKED page to your second link (maybe I've missed it).

And the problem with those forwards is that you can't get any stats about visits and such (yup, Afternic stats are whatever anyway...). Again, correct me if I'm wrong.

I have all my domains parked at DNS (now Uniregistry). Part of my portfolio I redirect to Afternic's BIN landers. All traffic for these domains is recorded through Uniregistry stats.

Same thing goes with Bodis, but since I don't use them currently and not for this purpose, I'll let alcy to respond about Bodis data.
