True, but thats when 100 percent revenue share ends in 2008.

I thought the people who register now will get 100% revenue even after Bodis stops offering this to new signups. Or will we also earn the same rate as new signups?

people who sign up during 2007 will get 100% in 2008, 2009, etc.

people who sign up during 2008 or after will get whatever rate matt decides on

people who sign up during 2007 (hopefully) can participate in referral/affiliate program during 2008 (or after) to earn commissions....

Here's just 1 example of 1 domain name that was parked at Sedo, and then moved to Bodis:

Sedo - July - 981 view / 141 clicks / $10.33

Bodis - August (from the 8th, so not even the whole month) 971 / 350 / $111.25

I'm still pretty new to all this and was looking for a place to park my domains where they would make some money, when i found out about bodis.

The previous two months provided very little in the way of revenue from the three services i tried,so applied and got accepted by bodis.

I went from making next to nothing to making money with bodis,so i would recomend them to anyone who feels their domain portfolios,big or small,are not making what they hoped.

Excellent service that is improving gradually.

I'm a little unsure about the affiliate program mentioned.Like i said,i'm still relatively new to this and not sure how this works,or will work.

If someone could shed some light on this i would be grateful

Holy sh*t Manic what sort of name is that ? Was it already a devloped website before you got it - or just a plain vanilla domain and what sector ?

Firefly an affiliate program means that if somebody signs up using a link from your site or blog and your referral ID they then become your 'affiliate' and you get a small amount for any clicks they get on their domains, as commission for brnging in new customers

I'm really happy with Bodis as well. Just the last couple of days have produced excellent revenue over what I was making with other parking companies.

i tried only 10 domains with bodis.com, some are doing really good (5-10 times more than sedo), but with non-english domains i don't have a good click ratio, but i didn't spend time in configuring it.

My domains have now been live on Bodis for two weeks. My revenue has already exceeded Sedo's best month by 4 fold. If I forecast a full month on Bodis, I should be at 8 times my best month on Sedo. Hits have ranged 30% higher and CTR is 3% higher than Sedo.

Bodis has proven itself to me and I recommend it to anyone interested in making money from parked domain.

The name was something that I managed to hand reg a few years ago. I did develop the name, and it was developed for about a year before the site was hacked. After that I didn't have the ambition to rebuild so I parked it at Sedo where I thought it was performing quite well... It was the first name I tested at Bodis... needless to say, I was estatic with the performance, so I moved my entire (non-adult) related portfolio over.

The name has to do with templates.

The payments notifications will go out on the first working day ahead of us, September 4th. I have mentioned September 1st, but did not have enough time today.

On the first working day (Tuesday), I will be sure to process all payment notifications via email. Payments won't be going out until the 15th.

Does anyone know what happens if you add a domain but omit the keyword and do not do any customization?

Will Bodis show on the landing page any PPC links, e.g. some generic PPC links? I seemed to have read somewhere that Bodis will, i.e., absence of keyword is OK, but can't seem to find the thread/post?

This inquiry is also relevant if you have a domain name that is not a dictionary word, and with no discernable meaning, for example, a meaningless set of 4 letters, LLLL.com

Any feedback much appreciated.

I'm glad a new bodis thread has been started. The last one has got too big to keep up with

I moved over about 100 domains to bodis now. Some do not convert but the ones that do are exceeding the revenue of all other parking companies I have used.

I'm sure it was said in the big thread that adult domains would be allowed soon, but heard no more about this. I'd love to see if my adult domains would convert as well. Currently using parkingpanel for them. The first couple of months with parkingpanel were good but has now dropped off (as usual with a lot of places).

Anyone know when we can park adult names at bodis?

I don't mind the stats being updated only once a day. I've been over the stage of checking stats every 20 minutes for years lol.

We only get paid once a month so what does it matter if stats are delayed 24 hours ?

Trafficclub stats are almost real time but the conversion rate with them is very poor I have found.

Google says they update the pagerank toolbar every 3 months because they are afraid people would waste too much time watching their PR go up and down. Maybe that's a good reason for Bodis to keep the daily updates.

It's become part of my daily ritual to check the Bodis stats after dinner (the updates are at 6PM in western europe). That's funner than watching it go up one penny at a time.

The best parking program I have ever used. Only have about 10 names in there at the moment, and I am more than impressed with the results so far. One domain I had with namedrive earnt me about $1 in July. In August, its earnt over $10. OK - not so much in actual money terms, but its about 10 times more than the name was previously earning me. I am just looking for a free weekend, which I can spend moving all my names to Bodis from Sedo and Namedrive.
