Bodis: Applied for Account long ago - Will you ever respond please?

Hi Matt/Bodis,

Many people have applied for accounts a log ago (some with huge portfolios of domains like us) but no response so far.

Only thing we received was confirmation of account application auto-email, and then someone will get in touch with us in few days message.

After that,.............no response so far.

We understand you are busy dealing with lots of issues, but please help us with the following questions:

1. When 'exactly' will we get response to our application?

2. Are people who applied and never received response (probably because Bodis is busy dealing with click/traffic fraud issues) will receive 100% revenue share because they applied in 2007?

That does not tell me anything. I specifically asked for a time frame or date above.
I am expecting that Matt will clear the air himself.

Bodis is Bogus
I think they have made it clear they have no interest in accepting more applications for the 100% rev share. In my opinion its a bad move and I think they will lose more than half of the domains to IMODO next week. I won't give them one domain since they didn't honor the agreement to let people in till 2008 for the 100% share . Bodis Is Bogus.

I think the actions speak very clearly about the struggles they are going through. No communication, its stated in the link above they are not accepting applications until ...let me guess 2008. How hard would it be to set up an auto responder email to let applicants know that? like "thanks for application we are not accepting new domains at this time" .... The lack of communication is unprofessional for a company.
They came on this forum asked people to join and now they have around 71,784 domains in the system and in my opinion rather than see the bigger picture of customer satisfaction and building their brand quality they have put off a number of potential future partners.
If the 100% share they offered doesn't sustain their business model than tell people that and let sign up anyway under a new model but communicate.
This is just my opinion Im not a Bodis member as they never responded with an acceptance or rejection.I personally prefer to do business with companies that do communicate.IMHO

I am pissed off. Not for the weak Bodis templates but because of the pompous attitude they have taken.I have domains all over. Ill stick with Parked which is the best going with communication and service.
NameDrive,1plus, DS and my own scripts. Dont get me wrong Im laughing too this whole business chasing pennies is pretty funny.

Its in the long thread. Bodis is not accepting new members until Bodis 2.0 and thats not 100% revenue anymore.

Why would a company that says its for domainers then waste our time to fill out its application, and then want us to confirm our registration, then tell us to wait for a decision soon.

Why can't it just disable the account sign-up page so that we don't waste our time?

It is just showing that:

- bodis has a very incompetent management
- it takes its members for guaranteed
- it has complete disrespect and disregard for the work ethics
- it just don't give a damn as its management still can't give a timeframe of decision on already submitted applications
- it does not answer questions to the point but provides generic canned responses
- it is called a customer service nightmare, and it will only lead to bad reputation for bodis before even building a reputation.

Just my 2 cents......management need to wake up and smell the coffee before it turns off its loyal potential member base.

Figure Matt will possibly answer your question but I can direct you to where he stated that Bodis is not accepting me members.It also was mentioned in the LONG thread and he also mentioned about version 2.0 and new members not being part of the 100%revenue share.

First of all: my friend you are not understanding my reasons. I don't argue with what Matt said "AFTER" we registered for account at Bodis. So you repeatedly pointing me to those posts is useless.

Second: Matt has repeatedly said that 100% revenue share is for members who register "BEFORE END OF THIS YEAR".

And we did register few months ago. If he doesn't respond to those members, that's not our issue....its just a bad customer service.

Now if he change his words, and go back on his promise....well, then what can I say......then there are VERY SERIOUS ISSUES OF HONESTY AND TRUSTWORTHINESS.

I suggested that weeks ago - sounds like it's still live?

I'm going to assume its not a matter of honesty so much as Bodis doesn't have their act together yet and that they have a lot to learn about communication and customer relations.

I wouldn't hold my breath for a response its clear after adopting an unsustainable business model they have shifted to the "Google" mentality. Personally from what I have read it would not surprise me if when they launch "Bogus 2" they tell everyone that the 100% revenue share only applied to "bogus 1" LMAO.

One things for sure, without question Bodis are not acting in a professional manner - doesn't take much to get an auto responder up and going to keep potential parkers informed and interested - if it wasn't for this forum I wouldn't have known anything. I'm still waiting for them to get back to me - seems it won't happen now - anyways, things seem to be working out where I am.
