Blogspot blog in #1?

I started off in the 1st position in Google for my main keyword. A month later I'm stuck in the 15th position.

I update my blog almost everyday. Should I slow down or make a static page?

When I was in the 1st position I had just put the site up and the keyword wasn't saturated at all. Now the keyword is pretty big and it knocked me back a few spots in the SERPs. How do I get back to the 1st position?

I update often, there's no broken links or images [beside the ones from blogspot which SEO tools are saying is broken] and I use the keywords in all of my posts. How good is using the keywords in post titles and posts for SEO? I bold, italicize, etc. the keyword and use it a few times in each post. Should I cut back?

Any help is appreciated.

you got the first position earlier due to freshness factor. your site was new but relevant and google didnt have much data on your site which they could use to determine where to rank you. so you were just ranked top for fresh and relevant content. this isitial SERP boost dont last long and what you see now as your ranking, this is the ranking google has asigned you now. you need to forget the fact that you were at the top once and realize where you rank now. keep adding fresh content on a regular basis and keep building backlinks. over time you will gain your position back

Yes, they are.

i would suggest building some links, but you don't own blogspot.com and i'm always iffy on that. consider getting a domain just for yourself to use and i'd feel better about telling you to put work into it.

I have 2k backlinks already. It's the highest of the sites using the keyword. I think it's just the age of it, maybe.
