Looks like Paydayloans .info sold today for $24,000 through Sedo. Should be one of the biggest .info sales so far this year.

if i remember correctly, registering .infos well into the future is one key factor in the success of a .info - as there are still so many spammy, short term uses of .infos out there.

just looked up the whois on those examples you gave:

slovenia.info - registered until 2017
spain.info - registered until 2017

but germany.info and austria.info was just until 2010. must be lots of other factors that can 'fix' a .info

The factors involved in getting a .info to rank in Google are almost certainly the same as for other gTLDs. Google representatives have said several times they do not currently discriminate by gTLD. When you think about it, it would be crazy to brand/associate all .info's as worse or all .info's as better than some other gTLD.

If I was running a search engine length of registration would be something I would consider because many people looking to get rich quick often have a rapid turnover of schemes. People in for the long haul over have more of a passion for their subjects.

However I would not try and tie the age factor to gTLDs because there are likely to be all kinds of people with all kinds of intentions in all gTLDs.
