Bido Auctions No More (For Now)
Published on August 20, 2008 in Bido/DNZoom. 0 Comments

We gave it another shot today but still had major tech issues. We believe the right thing to do now is to spend time figuring out the issues and come back when we are ready. It may be few days, weeks, months, none of us really knows.

All who submitted domains to Bido we will work with you to get it back to your accounts.

Other Bido services, DNZoom and Portfolio Help, will continue to run normally once we get servers back online.

I will update on this more later.

Hope they do come back soon. I really enjoyed the site on a daily basis.

I was on the receiving end of around 3K emails today in the span of about 10 min. Also loging on was a problem. took a few min. I like the format and hope they are able to come back soon but a big pain for the past two days.

Certainly not you. Summers tend to be slow, and even slower when there is an economic recession.

I would have to assume they were having bigger issues other then the new chat feature causing the problems. The simple thing would be to remove the "new chat" and that should of brought things back to normal.

To take the whole site down is a big deal. Not the right thing to do IMO... To get the buyers and sellers back is going to be hard.

Strange that they sound so negative about the possiblity of getting back online - there must be more issues than just one auction that got out of control surely ?

Thanks for the concern and sorry for all those emails the server spewed! We will return once we make the necessary adjustments and enhancements.
Kind Regards,
Jarred
