Best way to pick up Dropping names?

So I wanted to know what everyone's opinion on the best way to pick up expiring domains. Obviously we have namejet and snapnames, but what about the domains that do not go through those? I have tried godaddy's backording tool, and it never seems to get them. Any thoughts?

You can try Pool.com
I might be a little more expensive but you don't pay unless you actually get the domain. Not sure how those others work though.

The Big three are: Snapnames, NameJet, and Pool. Godaddy back ordering is not reliable. I have like 5 back orders that have failed. At least I still have the credit to change them to other domain names. But if you really want a specific domain name and you have money on the hand then I recommend you use the three services and the one that grabs it... well if it's a very good domain name then prepare yourself to start bidding.

You can try catching domains on your own by following the daily drop lists & chasing your custom lists.

There's plenty of domains that are still good & not worth the $60 backorder fee. So you can try to handreg domains and / or use programs & scripts to try & grab the domains for you.

It won't get you the best domains, all of the above (pool, snap, NJ & godaddy) will jump at any domain that has a backorder on it & beat everyone out. But it will give you an advantage & put you at the taster's level.

Plus sometimes a domain you like that didn't get eaten up by snap or pool - if tasted will be dropped again in 4 days. So you can try to snag it then.

I snapnames back? I thought they died.
Buying blanket strategy drops is costly.
You have to make a killing on one but it only averages out renewals fees on the rest. and renewals come awfully quick!
