Your domain is not resolving?
First time using namecheap, need to play around with the forwarding settings.

I've edited my original post with a direct link to the landing page.

I like Domain Broker 2.
Example : www.tmpz.com

I use the old version. I find it clean and simple.
New update offers more features.

I like how clean this landing page looks however on mobile if I was going to make an offer all the other names you have for sale drop down before I can I don't like that

I started to build "hybrid landing pages" where the homepage is a lander with additional informations, and there will be a blog/news page, with relevant unique content to drive traffic which will be updated every once in a while.

First example with extended information, but without the blog part: EVreviews.com

I have GoDaddy "basic" Wordpress hosting at $3.99/month ... can have as many domains listed however I want, plus ads, affiliates, etc, and have complete freedom on the site navigation, graphics, etc. And, with good SEO, some of my "brandable" .com names rank very high - my "amerona" landing site comes up on page 2 in Google Search if someone types in amerona, and is the first image under Google Images.

Ok. I don't experience that problem on my phone. Weird.

The "More domains" is a customizable feature for that template. One could remove it if wanted.

And the Wordpress sites are also optimized for mobile. If anybody wants more detailed info, you are more than welcome to send me a DM. I am selling one of my sites, jagdomains.com ... see my footer below ...

Is it just for me or amerona has zero searches, zero cpc, zero competition?
Maybe that is why you rank..or maybe not.

Even if your domains number millions, you can have one hosting plan and one landing page for all of them.

Just park them on one domain, where you host your scripts. The scripts then generate necessary landing page for the incoming domain(s). There could be other ways, but that's the simplest.
For example, check my scripts (click my signature below).

Yes I get that, not exactly what I meant though.

Weird, I can see many host their landing page with forms on
http:// (non-secure protocol), yet they want us to believe they have the best landing pages.
It's takes very little to hi-jack such pages and submitted info, without you even noticing it.

My advice:
Do yourself a favor, host your form on secure server, i.e.
https://
or be prepared for high bounce rate (form abandonment).

Without https// you're guaranteed to loose many potential sales. Most visitors now a days just won't submit the form. In fact, popular browsers now display security breach notice for forms hosted on http:// protocol. This scares away many visitors.
wow, never heard of this before. gotta look more into it.. thnx

Hey all,

Really interesting to see the different ways you all have gone about creating landing pages for your domains. There are definitely a lot of things to think about like design, customization, SEO, security (HTTPS), etc. and it can be difficult to figure out how to do it best.

I represent a new company called DomaHub, a platform for creating simple, clean sales/landing pages for your domains (you may remember us as the company who provides domain rentals, as well). We have recently re-launched our website and hope to serve domainers who are looking for a simple solution to creating landing pages for their domains.

We provide you with the tools to create your landing page with your own UNIQUE design and branding (not just themes/templates), on your own domain name, AND with security included (SSL certificates for all of your pages). We are still in the process of adding great features, so if there's anything you want included please feel free to share that with us.

If you are interested, you can go to our website, try out our demo, or learn more about our features. We offer both free and premium accounts!

I don't want to hijack the thread, so if you want to continue the discussion please see this thread in the advertising section.

The main reason Iโ€™ve favored doing my own sales sites over the years as easier to implement a $9 SSL across the board on 1 sales site domain...

yoursalessitedomain.com/domainnamehere then to SSL a script that makes 400+ domains load on 400+ individual urls.

I welcome all feedback!

It's a good start and can be made better by changing/displaying:

1. More color to be added to the landing page - it's too dominated by the dark lines. Additionally a more artistic script would bring more of an esthetic appeal;
2. Short of a complimentary logo, it's preferred to have a background font/theme that is a visual extension of the spirit/content/meaning of the domain;
3. The text ''If you would like to discuss the opportunity of owning ........, please fill out the form on this page.'' needs to be abbreviated to be more compact;
4. From reading the instruction to proceed with the domain it's not clear a potential interested buyer would be making an inquiry or offer by filling up the form/contacting the seller.
5. Make offer/buy now combo works better for conversion than the inquire/buy now option when presented on a landing page.

Great feedback - I actually agree with all of the points!

I'll implement changes this evening.

Thanks.

Nice link Jay.

Do you or other domainers use services like Instapage and LeadPages to create landers for their domains? Those two services are quite pricey just to set up some landers..

No started domaining in 2003 and little bit after decided doing my own sales sites was better than giving away valuable leads. I buy one $9 ssl which secures everything, market and landing pages. Last month decided to try a few hosted solutions, started with efty which isn't SSL yet and this month trying another hosted solution which is SSL for the market and landing pages. Debate will be do I stick with them or go back to my own servers. May stay as impressed so far with price and features as can't find anything missing from doing my own.

Ok, I have a question.
If one is using a sales platform like Efty, DMP etc, why would one not use the sales page of that platform as the landing page, instead of using a separate landing page? A sales page at least has links to ones whole platform portfolio which can be viewed by the visitor, where most of the landing pages I've seen being used, don't. (if one is not using an Efty/DMP/etc. type of platform, I can see why.) Just curious as to the benefits of separate landing pages to sale pages.
