question Best Domaining marketplace for Auction + Sales + Exposure

Im looking for the best domaining site in terms of Auction + Sales + Exposure and the least headache; and least costs when it comes to listing them for price.

which marketplace has it all; Uniregistry, Sedo, Afternic, NameJet, Flippa, BuyDomains, SnapNames, etc?
and whats the difference between each of those marketplaces?

You could try dan.com, free to list, simple clean landing pages & some of the lowest commission of all the sites (no, Idon't work for them !).

Domain auction is no way to make it...not for me and not for most people. It's a fantasy that we can flip domains to domainers on these auction sites and make profit IMO. it rarely works. The only way I know that works is selling to endusers.

Afternic is the best choice of all above though, because 'endusers' search the domain and see it available (for the premium price) @ their registrar when they actually type in the domain to buy (you must set a BIN).

Other than that, they all offer about 0 exposure, and you just giving commission for nothing (MOSTLY)!

But sales mostly depends on the quality of the name, so if the name is of decent value it'll sell regardless of the site, but I'm wondering why would you pick Afternic above sedo? Are the sales faster on Afternic

Sure, but the one you forward to is the important one, and it's where you'll get the majority of sales.

Due to the 9% commission at DAN/Undeveloped I am thinking of sending my domain traffic over there for a few months to test out. It also seems to be better with ad blockers, as Sedo often locks up under the same circumstances.

I totally agree with this, and it's mostly me pushing buyers to Sedo and not the other way around. Commissions are getting out of hand, as this 15-20% is crazy and automatically inflates end-user prices.

Here are my results:

Sedo: Lots of sales and tons of (lowball) offers, but that is to be expected as that's where I push my domain traffic.
Afternic/GoDaddy: Many sales and a few offers - BINs seem to work best there and I haven't really had many offers. Best marketplace if you're not pushing traffic and again, BIN for the WIN.
Flippa: A few sales, but nothing since they changed gears and absolutely buried Domains. It's a dead zone now, and you gotta pay to win/lose..
DAN/Undeveloped: Recently joined so no data.
Uniregistry: Zero sales and zero offers and that's over many years.

You know, after looking over my sales data I just realized how important the BIN is at Afternic/GD - I barely use it, but whenever i do, sales seem to happen through GD organically.

There seems to be a lot of GD buyers there with cash in their pockets and buying what fits their budget.

People and businesses who contact me through the WHOIS contact form, which in terms of sales is better than Flippa and worse then Afternic/GD, but in terms of offers, it's been second only to Sedo.
