i see now.
if you're looking for the cheapest and can pay via credit card then there's one that goes for U.S.$49/year
http://website.unifiedregistrar.com/

What are their pricing structures?

Doesnt list what the prices are for the domains on their site it only gives an example.

Too expensive Dragon.

Seems like wildwest is the cheapest.

How are they for customization?

it came from post of RickM on hidden forum of Registration Providers group

http://eaahosting.unifiedregistrar.com/
http://waynes.unifiedregistrar.com/
http://datawebpro.unifiedregistrar.com/
http://gehaner.unifiedregistrar.com/

but prices are killers for registrants.
you get what you paid for as a reseller but that's cheapest so far that I've seen if someone wants to start right up as a domain reseller with little budget.

my advise is go with wwd if you have time to administer, promote and if someone has the budget, it's the best in pricing for registrants they pay less for your domains and you get more loyal customers as long as you can afford the U.S.$229 yearly price tag

Thanks yeah i can afford to pay the yearly price registration, at the moment i pay about $9 per domain so i would be making a saving of $2 per domain i register.

If i register 100 names a year i make my money back, then the added bonus of selling domains etc.

My only worry with WWD is the customization issues. Has anyone seen a nicely customized WWD reseller website?

Thanks

Morgan,

If you're interested in becoming a reseller mainly just to save costs, I'd recommend looking into getting an Exec account with Godaddy -- save the $200+ for WWD.

I was looking into WWD at one point myself but Godaddy offered me an Exec account and that has worked out well -- I think the regfee is $7.10, although I'm a Domain Discount Club member (even better rates) there, so don't take my word on that.

I was also going to try and get a few sales through the site also, got a heap of people who want to buy a few domains so i thought if i created a reseller account i could get them to register through me so i could help pay the costs.

Although i want a reseller that i can customise, has anyone customised a WWD account or seen a customised one?

Thanks

as for the customization in terms of layout and design.
all you can customize are the header and footer.

it looks like this
www.domainrightnow.com

Speaking strictly from a price and professionalism standpoint, I've loved working with Fabulous. Their website is fabulous.com and we register domains for 6.95 each, I just like the people and the security.

Cheers,
Kris

Anyone know of any successful WWD resellers?

Or are there too many to really make a profit?

from what i've heard, by using wwd you can kill 2 birds in 1 stone, use it for your own self, or let others register on it, not unless you have a lot of members/registrants.

If it's just for the price name.com with $5.99 and reliable operation all these years is a win-win solution. They don't have any marketing tricks and their interface is plain and productive
