I am looking at becoming a domain name reseller and would like to know which registar offers the best prices and service? Also if someone can point me to some reviews of domain reseller programs I would very appreciated

Where is the details for the moniker reseller program I can't find it anywhere on their site? Also I can't find their pricing for that matter :|

A good reseller option is any program that is designed to serve resellers more than end-buyers
If for example gives high price to end-buyers this is a plus for resellers

So if you didn't see that i describe enom from this description then i will say it clear.... enom
Other programs maybe good too (like resellerclub) but they don't have the quality of enom

ResellerClub sure does look good (for 100+ domains), I might get into this buisness as well...

I bought a (sub)reseller account from someone on eBay recently. It came with the website already set up, so that was attractive to me. The pricing is really good (I can buy .com, .net for $6.95, for example). However, having used the account for about a week now, I'm having second thoughts. I'm pretty sure it's one of ResellerClub's accounts, and the interface (backend and front) leave plenty to be desired. The site is fairly slow and some other domain name and logo appears on the pages when one of MY customers goes in to manage their account. Granted, this could be due to a lack of skill on the reseller's part (the person I bought the account from on eBay), but I'm pretty unsatisfied with the whole thing. Oh yeah, and my customers have to pay a little extra ($0.20) for email, forwarding, etc. Regular DNS redirects are free though.

I already have an $8.95 eNom reseller account and am trying to find a good deal on a $6.95 account. I'd really prefer to go with Moniker, but haven't been able to find info on their reseller accounts (if they have them).

I tried out GoDaddy's reseller program, but I'm a complete dunce when it comes to setting up the API - same with eNom. I'm not an idiot, but I just don't seem to "get it" for whatever reason.

Like JasMate, I could use some help here.

I have tried a few and now I am using eNom. I have never tried Moniker though

Moniker doesn't give reseller accounts, however they do have an API. It can only be used to register domains for YOUR account, so it would be extremely annoying to code a working domain selling site with their API.

Just one mans opinion here, by why wouldnt we "as domainers" support each other and sign up with someone who is already a reseller instead of buying straight from the big boys over and over again?

That said, I went with godaddy's plan because the other two main choices here in this thread were either A- Too expensive to start up, B- Need xxx/xxxx amount of credit/money deposited into your account in order for cusomers too buy products, and C- I dont need to be nor want to be my own customer service.

Do the research I say, and go with what best fits your own needs.

In my opinion, Dotster's is the best, in terms of simplicity. But Wild West Domains offers you the ability to do quite a bit. So I could definitely recommend either of them. :) (I've used both in the past, in addition to a few others which did not impress me!)
