We all have our domains listed at several marketplaces.

However it is only smart to list a name with a BIN at one marketplace at a time so as not to get stuck in a situation where a domain is purchased at two markets simultaneously.

Yes, I know the chance of this happening is rare.

Now for the question and the Poll.....

When listing your domains for sale at markets with a BIN, which market, in your opinion, gives the best results.

In other words, in your experience, what market has resulted in the most sales from listing names with a BIN only?

I am leaving out the brandable marketplaces because they are specialists.

We are talking about the major, general markets only.

Only one answer is allowed, so pick the one you think is best even if two are very close.

I think it also depends which registrar your domains are with. If they are not at GoDaddy, then Afternic is a great way of accessing their customer base.

If they are already registered and listed at GD, then listing at Afternic offers less advantages. Perhaps then list your BIN's on Sedo?

Also, now if you have your domains at Namesilo, BIN prices give you the option of offering buyers a payment plan, plus very reasonable commission rates.

What if your domains are reg @ GoDaddy resellers?

I'm not sure about that one actually as I haven't tried it with any of them myself.

Perhaps someone else here has experience of this?

Yes I suppose it's possible GD has a deal with it's resellers to list their domains on the main GD site.

I highly doubt it.

Why doubt such a simple thing? GoDaddy resellers are part of the AfternicDLS network, along with GoDaddy.com. So, if your domain is at a reseller it can be opted into our Fast Transfer network and it can be sold through one of our resellers.

One thing I was wondering was, if you have your GoDaddy domains listed with a BIN price on the Afternic network, is it safe to also have them listed with a BIN price on GoDaddy premium listings?

If a domain sold through one of those methods, would it be automatically removed from the other right away?

I think if NameSilo's marketplace had the same amount of buyers as GD, Sedo or Afternic, it would be virtually perfect..

You are right, but in this thread we are voting just about BIN pages and NameSilo does this really well. If they covered all extensions, I would not use any others.

Hopefully that will come in time.

Hopefully!!! They have lots of common sense, by living outside the bubble and they also listen their customers (when customers also have common sense, of course :xf.grin:) for changes and improvements.

Anyway, you can still use their BIN page plus Afternic and/or SEDO MLS at the same time for losing no sale chances.

There is no benefit to listing on both Premium Listings and AfternicDLS. Right now, if a domain sells on premium listings it won't automatically remove it from Afternic. We'll finally have the full integration of Afternic and GoDaddy Domain Manager done this year, and at that point Premium Listings and AfternicDLS will be the same thing.

The lower the BIN, the higher the fact, that it doesn't play a crucial role, which marketplace you use.

@Paul Nicks are you going to use Payoneer as a disbursement option at Godaddy and Afternic?

I'm going to buck the trend. I don't sell at BIN anywhere. I have a minimum offer of $1000. But all that does is encourage low-ball offers on my better names. I'm going to be increasing my minimum bids, thanks to the actions of HugeDomains and others bidding up prices everywhere. For 2017 my minimum bid is going up to $2500.

I'm not a huge fixed price seller. My own sites have always produced the most sales as that's where the domains point to. If not doing your own site I'd say GoDaddy premium listings for GoDaddy registered domains and Afternic for domains not registered at GoDaddy. Think GoDaddy trumps any other market in terms of advertising which slowly draws in end users along with their current existing user base. Don't remember ever seeing commercials for any of the others.

I highly doubt it.

I have 400-500 .coms at a GoDaddy reseller and they all integrate with afternic distribution if I price them.

"Make offer", "BIN" or "Auction". I don't know which one is the best and couldn't find much info. It seems "make offer" is best for you. Congrats you made a choice. I am still hesitant though usually "make offer" seems like good as you don't leave money on the table. But on the other hand all marketplaces strongly recommend BIN. This is confusing.

You have to deal with a lot of lowballers with minimum offers on a portfolio of domains. It isn't easy. BIN is an easy sale. But you know you've left money on the table with BIN sales. Auctions are usually disappointing unless you work hard to bring potential customers into the auction. Doing all that work, doesn't seen right that you've still go to pay 20% commission.
