Benefits of listing on Sedo etc

I have a few good names to sell. Should I list them on Sedo /other places or not?

Do buyers go to Sedo to get ideas or do they go to the domain-they-had-in-mind.com ? Is that worth 20% ? Not looking to get domainer attention, but end users.

The more places you have your domains listed at, the better chance they have of selling. Just take into account that 20% commission when pricing your names.

If your domains are brandable, you can put them on brandbucket. End users actively search there for ideas on which domain they want.

Though they stop you from trying to sell the names elsewhere at the same time.

Most endusers visit the necessary domain directly...
But if you want to lose 20% - you may try...

Sedo doesn't demand exclusivity, right? So if I list there and find a buyer via my site, it's all OK? Assuming I don't use them as a escrow

Good start would be...

1) Your own pages whether that's your own script or Bodis, Efty etc....
2) Afternic
3) Sedo
4) Uniregistry

#1 is responsible for most of my sales with #2 bringing in the majority of the rest

Right, you are obliged only to sales that were initiated via their marketplace or MLS-feed.

What verification?
The domain ownership??? This is normal practice for all marketplaces...
It usually takes a few minutes if WHOIS is not privacy protected and email matches your Sedo email...
And if the domain is not already listed under another Sedo user...
