Hi NPers,
Sold a domain on Tuesday, sent email to Buyer Tuesday evening regarding details for payment & push/transfer info.
Weds. morning, no response. Weds. evening sent another email.
Thurs. morning, no response. Sent email to Afternic regarding Buyer's non-responsiveness. Afternic replied within the hour, stating that during the normal escrow process, they give each party 10 days to complete one step. Afternic said they would send an email reminder to the Buyer.
This is not a high-priced domain and escrow is not being used so its up to my discretion when to kick this Buyer to the curb and relist.
My tolerance threshold is 72 hours, and even less after 2 unanswered emails. If the Buyer is unable to make a payment within a few days, that's fine, at least have the courtesy to respond to my emails letting me know when I can expect it.
Should I add to the description to my no-escrow Bazaar listings something to the effect of: "Seller will relist domain if payment is not made within 72 hours after sale" ?
What do you think?
Thanks,
Ryan
