Scam purchase on Afternic bazaar?

A number of different LLLL were sold on afternic bazaar today to the same buyer.
Mostly they were sold at the high end of listed prices including one of mine.
I requested payment by email in the usual way.
I received the message:
No problem. Simply "UNLOCK" the domain name and send me the Transfer authorization code. Then I will send the money via paypal and call my people at REGISTER.com.
I replied: Please pay first.
....Maybe I will receive a reply but I smell a rat and have notified afternic that I think there is a problem.

Good luck , i have some names listed at bazaar right now .. some of them LLLLs too..

forgot about this thread...but to cut a long story short he refused to pay upfront and I cancelled the sale. I think I would have cancelled it anyway even if he had changed his line once I felt I was dealing with an essentially dishonest person. It wouldn't have been worth the risk of potential blow back.
