Automated Hosting Scripts

I've been researching on starting my very own hosting company and have covered a wide variety of questions. One question that I can't seem to get a solid answer for is what automated script to use.

So here is my question, for those of you who are running their own hosting website, what script do you use or recommend? Are there any free scripts that can automate a hosting website? I plan on running the website on a Linux dedicated server with WHM/Cpanel, and possibly add an option of registering a domain on order.

GoDaddyGoDaddy
ClientEx is good
WHM Autopilot is better

If you are doing free hosting check out iPanel

I hope that helps some ;)

I've been looking at two right now, WHM Autopiolot and WHCM.com

Both seem very detailed and all inclusive.

Would love some feedback about them from people who have used them.

I believe that is right time for you now to do research for the reviews on both.

WHM has very good reviews. many providers use that and a lot of people aware of that.
I would recommend you WHM

WHM is a given. I believe he is looking for scripts that automate the WHM process of creating and managing accounts. Such as, WHMAP or ClientExec or many of the others out there.

[EDIT] Let me add something else for you Unknown. Depending on your means of hosting, you might find a solution that offers you a free copy of ClientExec, WHMAP, or some other automated script plus some offer enom reseller accounts.

For instance, if you start with a reseller account with www.HastyHost.com you get a free eNom account and a free version of ClientExec.

I am not sure if they allow you to have a free eNom account and ClientExec with their Virtual Servers or not, or with their dedicated servers or not. But, that is something to look into as well.

So, once you determine the automated script you would like to use, then determine your hosting platform you would like to start with (reseller, VP, or Dedicated/collocation) then see if you can find a provider that provides you a free license of the automated hosting script and a free domain reseller account ;) [/EDIT]

I assume that in this situation hiring programmer would be the best idea. I assume that soon if you have rights you will be able to sell that

No need to re-invent the wheel and spend thousands of dollars. Well, unless there is a need for features not currently offered with third-party solutions, or if you want to brand your company more with a custom script and have more control over your backend panels. But, those options will either be expensive or time consuming and not ideal for a start-up unless the start-up has a good amount of capital or time to invest.
