Question about GoDaddy hosting

If I purchased a domain and it comes with the free hosting which I know is very limited but you can put the website tonight on it. My question is with this free hosting can you put your own site up that say you built with dreamweaver and upload it through ftp just using their free hosting?

My honest advice is to keep hosting and domains separate. If they're together, it's often a recipe for disaster.

Dont know much about Godaddy free hosting. But they do say that its free with any domain registered.

And let me tell you that its ads supported, i read it out there that its ad supported.
They will put a small add on your site.
