Augmented Reality (AR) domains

Last night I ignored the urge to register SpaceShipThree.com , and today the .com .net .org and .whatnot is all taken.

Today I decided to redeem myself and find another good dn investment. After a bit of investigation I discovered the huge potential of Augmented Reality: Google Trends: augmented reality . The estimated AR market size in 2014 is $732,000,000 , especially in AR marketing.

I think adverts and billboards shown as augmented reality on mobiles will become simply huge, and so I decided to get a piece of the pie, all new .com registrations:

Yes mate, I did not expect anything less.

I think it is a smart move making aftermarket buys at this stage in niches that are on the verge or have the potential to explode.

I recently made a deal with a member of this forum to buy two domains in a similar niche for $2600.

Sometimes, like in your example you can get premium domains in niches for $xxx - $xxxx range and if you time it right it is only a few months later that same domain could sky rocket in value if big companies start to make press releases of their intentions.

Whatever niche Apple announces it is jumping in on next year, domains contained within that niche will become very desirable imo.

Sorry guys me bad sale was not ar related but was just trying to show as asked about a domain opinion a real time example of a dotcom sale to a dotbiz sale using the same word which in my opinion you cant get a better example. And how the extention when it is in .biz is a real killer in terms of interest and money.

Anyone getting offers yet?

I've been lowballed to death on live (ar), almost 20 offers at this stage. There's been a lot of interest from China in particular. A few big companies inquired, they didn't like my price. I feel my 5 figure asking price is justified based on supply and demand. I generally don't like to get too attached to my names but this one in particular, I'll either make a big sale or I'll develop it. If the tech goes bust, there's always scope for a local Arkansas project to develop.

I think Pokémon helped ar greatly and we are seeing the term gain traction in the general media. Last two weeks we have had a show called beyond 2020 where ar was mentioned multiple times.
