When you are in a situation like this, try to see if that person owns any domain names.
When you find one of their domain names, ask the person what they would take to sell their domain name.

I think this is a great way to annoy your customer. You probably won't make a great deal though. :D

I think most people would be annoyed that you're researching their own domains when you're supposed to be selling yours.

@Rick Ace - This maybe true, but they are also annoying you by low-balling. If they stop low-balling perhaps their offer would be treated with the respect it deserves.
