I've been selling many of my LLLL.com domains successfully for the last few months. Lots of interest in them, and rightfully so. Four letter domains are great.
However, I'm confused as to the types of investors in these domains. Are they only domain noobies (beginners) with a spark of hope in their eyes? I've sold all my four character domains quickly, with an average of about $250 each. Many of these domains weren't even pronouncable, and their branding ability was questionable.
However, my two remaining LLLL.com domains which are super branding, pronounceable domains, have received weak bids. This confuses me, because I'm not sure if the whole group of LLLL.com domain buyers are noobies with limited finances, which creates this whole new domainer "niche". I'm getting the feeling this is what it is.
I have XGRO.COM, easily a high four digit domain, with low offers. Weird. This domain WILL be purchased by a gardening product giant within a few years if not sooner. However, Ive received no decent bids on that domain.
Additionally, I have what I consider the best military surplus store domain ever... GIHQ.com... (Government Issue Head Quarters). Can't get it any shorter or more clear than that acronym. Some nogginhead offered me $100 for it.
Well, it's allowed in this business. However, I am suspect of who the LLLL.com buyers are. I don't think this buying market has the buying power to pick up super Premium LLLL.com domains.
I may be wrong. Hell, GWBUSH has us in a recession and a crazy war. Up is down and left is right. Freedom is Oppression, Privacy is Spying, America is no longer the land of the free, but the land of the dependent scaredy cats. BAH!
