I've been selling many of my LLLL.com domains successfully for the last few months. Lots of interest in them, and rightfully so. Four letter domains are great.

However, I'm confused as to the types of investors in these domains. Are they only domain noobies (beginners) with a spark of hope in their eyes? I've sold all my four character domains quickly, with an average of about $250 each. Many of these domains weren't even pronouncable, and their branding ability was questionable.

However, my two remaining LLLL.com domains which are super branding, pronounceable domains, have received weak bids. This confuses me, because I'm not sure if the whole group of LLLL.com domain buyers are noobies with limited finances, which creates this whole new domainer "niche". I'm getting the feeling this is what it is.

I have XGRO.COM, easily a high four digit domain, with low offers. Weird. This domain WILL be purchased by a gardening product giant within a few years if not sooner. However, Ive received no decent bids on that domain.

Additionally, I have what I consider the best military surplus store domain ever... GIHQ.com... (Government Issue Head Quarters). Can't get it any shorter or more clear than that acronym. Some nogginhead offered me $100 for it.
Well, it's allowed in this business. However, I am suspect of who the LLLL.com buyers are. I don't think this buying market has the buying power to pick up super Premium LLLL.com domains.

I may be wrong. Hell, GWBUSH has us in a recession and a crazy war. Up is down and left is right. Freedom is Oppression, Privacy is Spying, America is no longer the land of the free, but the land of the dependent scaredy cats. BAH!

Yup, all gone! Sorry but those domains you listed are worth $100 max. To expect $x,xxx is ridiculous.

Yep, the domains you listed are worth no more than $100 sorry, although they are still good domains are their prices (well, LLLL.com prices in general) will continue to rise :)

people are making these offers due to quality letters as both have three premium letters and one "bad letter" if we only see letters

however one is an acronym and it is good if it fits what an end-user wants (the best sale you can have) and the other is pronounceable; pronounceable ones will be one of the best niche of LLLL.com, you just have to wait (right now a pronounceable one can be sold for mid $xxx - mid $x,xxx ifit has premium letters)

BTW, LLLL.com buyout was on nov 2, 2007

I am sorry but these names are not worth much, and thinking up acronyms yourself doesn't make them more valuable.
Looks like this post is aimed at 'noobs' who you hope will now purchase these domains from you...

those domain u sold quickly could be all premium letters. or repeating letters.

the few u mention left are wif bad letters.Domainers now are paying more for premium letters than names dat are pronouciable..
domainers wud pay $400 for RTGH .com and maybe $100 for FHOY .com

LLLL.com are rising in price because the internet continues to grow at a rapid pace. Short .com domains are all easy to brand and less like to create typing mistskes. (!)

The rise of the mobile internet will put a great deal of additional price pressure on short domains, both because of its' much greater market and because small keyboards are even more errror-prone.

I suggest you keep your two remaining LLLL.coms, both for the increase in the overall LLLL.com market that is likely and in case an end-user who agrees with you on their value shows up.
