.mobi Are the drop catching days over?

The BIG players have arrived! Looks like the days of drop catching mobis are officially over? Today’s LLL drops were picked up by Snapnames.com and are in the process of being auctioned off, starting bid is 59 US $. Have a look at snapnames.com and enter dxa.mobi, tvt.mobi or kwl.mobi. Strangely enough they have names for auction under status “available soon” that they don’t even own yet! Check out bradley.mobi, this mobi is going to drop within the next days. They are so sure that they will get it they are already marketing it! (They must have a very fast API connection) Well I guess its good news for the mobi market, awareness and pricing. Bad news for us who are hoping to pick up some more drops.

This really should come as no surprise. Any LLL.mobi is worth more than reg fee by many multiples. I would be worried if there were LLL.mobi or decent .mobi names dropping that were not picked up my snapnames.

In anycase, they won't catch everything and there will be some nice names available that were not available before.
