I have noticed one thing that is common across all cultures is the use of latin scientific names. Is there potential for such names to retain high value because of this? Or are such names effectively worthless?
My thinking is, with the way the economy is going; would domains with scientific names be a good investment? My thinking is they are things that provide security to a degree that you simply don't get with other commodities or domains. Simply because of their universal use and the fact they are non-changing. For example, if I had a scientific name for a plant that is farmed commonly around the world, and is referred to often by it's scientific name, I imagine it would be a valuable investment.
Any ideas about this would be helpful. Thanks.
