It really would depend on the 4 letter domain. I bought the domain "LLLL.com" recently for $7900 in example, meanwhile some cheaper 4 letter .coms go for as little as $2-$3 if they require near-immediate renewal.

3 letter domains are almost always more expensive, starting around $4500 in .com and around $650 in .net, lower in other extensions.

Welcome to NP!!! Just as Reece mention it really depends on quality. I would rather own a solid pronounceable LLLL.com then a horrible LLL.com. most I spent this year for an LLLL.com was $4,500 my highest sell this year for an LLLL.com was $11,100 for a name I purchase for $900 so there is immense opportunities in this niche if you know what you're doing.
