Archive.org now needs sign-in??

For years I've used Archive.org on a daily basis, as I can see what previous development (if any) has been on a domain name. Always one could just go to Archive.org and enter the inquiry. Today, for the first time ever, I'm being asked to create an account. Sounds like a free account but I'd still have to create one and log-in every time.

Has anyone else experienced this or is this somehow an error at my end?

Thanks for the link but I'm still having issues. Archive.org is now returning a 500 Internal Server Error, whichever browser I use. So this looks like an Archive issue. Darn.....
