App/Apps domains are finding a market

Have noticed a few App/Apps domains being sold (DNJournal.com) with the latest sale of MobileApps.com for 10k.

Looks like Apps developers are figuring out that they need domain names/websites to market their apps

I don't mean to reply to my own comment...but here is something else to add to it. TV makers are adding Apps

I sold BankingApps(.)com cheap on NP, hope the buyer can flip it for $10k.

It's a nice enough name, though I guess there are many more mobile apps.

I did register a few app/apps domains months ago, expecting this trend to pick up.

Not everyone can have a branded app and promote it..the demand for generic app names should be there. Lets see how it develops..

I believe that app/apps domains will have a better future than 3d domains, simply because apps are directly related to the internet, and apps can pertain to just about anything tangible and intangible.

JMHO.

However, I still wouldn't go out and reg everything in sight.
