I'm going to make a long story short here.
I registered some domains with anwerable.com and two days later I recieved an e-mail saying that because of fraud protection they needed me to fax them a copy of my credit card front and back plus a copy of my drivers license and a statement saying I authorized the charge.
Well, after not getting through to support I decided not to send those things in. So answerable.com released the names and they were free for anyone to register.
Now two days later they have charge my credit card for those domain names. I called them and they said that my account has been credited for those purchases.
So now I am talking to some guy in India who wants me to create a support ticket to try and get my money back.
This is just absurd. To anyone thinking about using answerable, I say, save yourself the headache and look elsewhere.
After getting disconnected and finally getting through to someone in India, I have been informed that I should recieve a refund in 15 days.
So, according to them, my credit card charge could have been a fraud so they dropped the names and yet after dropping the names they charged my credit card.
So I end up with no names and a charge to my credit card.
I will never use answerable.com again.
