.tv An Interesting Site/Business Model

During the gold rush period, a lot of the folks making riches were not the miners, but rather the individual selling the picks, food, and various sundries that miners needed to dig or pan for gold.

This site made me think about that, and perhaps it is a model that someone can develop properly. Although it is primarily for selling articles, they seem to have a fledgling amount of videos for sale as well that you can use on your site: Constant-Content.com .

Just thinking, first, that this might be a place where we can eventually purchase short clips to place on our niche .tv sites. But second, the business model itself is interesting, providing unique content for a reasonable price. So, you don't have to embed youtube videos, and put up with the ads they pop onto your site, the video would just play, and you could either place your own ad on the stream, or perhaps just add banner and text ads to the side.

I am thinking I could also record items of local interest and place it there for resale.

Just a site we might keep track of, if it takes off, there could very well be a plethora of videos available for us to use there.

Interesting concept.

Video on the site is limited at the moment, 10 vids, 3 of which can be purchased as unique content. Definitely worth watching though.

Also, as Rogue Writer mentioned, a potential place to sell/monetize any footage/videos that isn't going to one of your sites.

All in all, nice find, interesting idea. Worth keeping an eye on. Bookmarked.
