There you go again comparing the Holocaust and Genocide to Slavery and RacismI don't know how you get off on that, but you are sadly misinformed.
tldboss...i'm sorry, but you don't understand history, slavery and emancipation. You said, "The deliberate killing of a large group of people is a part of (Holocaust, Genocide, Slavery, Racism)." Facts show that very few blacks/slaves were killed during the civil war in the United States, and the blacks who were killed were actually soldiers who fought for either the Confederate or Union Armies. All toll approximately 300,000 white confederate soldiers died, 400,000 union soldiers died and 30,000 black soldiers (not slaves) were either killed or died (disease etc.) during the Civil War.I think Silent is right. The deliberate killing of a large group of people is part of (Holocaust , Genocide , Slavery , Racism). There are mass graves because of slavery and racism. Let us not down play any one of those evils, holocaust was evil, slavery was evil.
Diversion? Now you've moved over to Redskins. I'm very focused. It's what makes me successful. I'm not all over the map. Football tickets, etc.Besides intimidation I see where diversion is also one of your tactics. Yes I said I'm 1/4 Jewish and proud of it. When I learned while visiting the Holocaust Museum in Washington DC in 2003 that I too would have been put to death by Hitler and his thugs, that shed a new light my heritage. My point about your comment, "How long would a statue of Hitler last in Jerusalem?" shows me how little you know about humanity unless of course you're anti-Semite.
Just a couple more points I want to make regarding this whole topic....I mentioned earlier I was born in Washington DC in 1947, and with my Jewish grandfather Benjamin Goldstein became a die hard Washington Redskin football fan. Later after Pop Pop passed I was fortunate to have season tickets to Redskin football, and not once in the 40+ years I was a fan did i hear anything about the name "Redskin" being derogatory and offensive to the American Indian. I, like everyone else I knew, felt it was a compliment to be referred to as a "Redskin" fan. However, the one thing they can never take away from me is the FACT they won three Super Bowls while T/A the Redskins. Although I'm guessing some crackpot left wing liberal will want to strip them of their Super Bowl trophies because they won them under a name that is supposedly offensive to "a few" American Indians.
Moving on, I just heard today that in addition to the American National Anthem being played/sung at NFL football games the Black National Anthem will also be played/sungDo you have any idea how divisive that is???? So now we're to have a White National Anthem and a Black National Anthem....very sad
The last thing I'll say is there was a time I thought I could have partnered with you in some capacity in the domain industry, but now that I've gotten to know who you really are, you couldn't pay me enough to be your partner despite my having initially sought you out.
This is the end of my conversation with you....your agenda is to always have the last word so have at it with me knowing your true colors![]()
That is a twisted perspective.tldboss...i'm sorry, but you don't understand history, slavery and emancipation. Unlike the Holocaust, there was no "deliberate killing" of blacks by either the North or the South. Why? Because the South wanted to keep the slaves they bought (WRONG) to do the work they paid for them to do, and the North wanted to FREE/EMANCIPATE the slaves.
While Slavery was and still is horrific, it doesn't compare to Genocide and the Holocaust. Do you understand the difference? Slaves in America were indentured servants, most of who believed they were under contract to work for their masters.
Today, the 4th of July is in recognition of the day in 1776 we declared our independence from Great Britain aka England. Sadly slavery and the civil war that resulted freed the slaves is part of our history tooBlacks, Whites, Indians, Asians, Women, Disabled, LBGTQ and all people in America are created equal and should not be discriminated. Do we have room for improvement in America? Sure we do, and I promise to do my part to make America and this world a better place.

I misspoke when i said that most slaves were "indentured servants", but your questioning my vernacular helped to educate me on the difference between indentured servitude and slavery.SERIOUSLY?!?!?![]()
Please provide your source and proof.

That said however, the statistics I quoted about actual blacks who died in the civil war can be verified by numerous sources. Horrific as it sounds, southern slave owners didn't want any of their collateral assets to die for they felt they owned them, and to insinuate that 60 Million slaves were killed by "White Christian Imperialism" is as divisive and disingenuous as it gets. Simply Google;
"Lies, damned lies, and statistics" and you'll see what I mean. Then speaking of lies, damned lies and statistics, how many incidents similar to the George Floyd killing at the hands of a rogue cop happen in America every day? Every week? Every Month? Every Year?. And this isn't to say the killing of George Floyd is/was racially motivated. It's been said that George and the cop who killed him worked as security guards together at the same night club in Minneapolis. No doubt the cop hated George Floyd, but to say it was because Floyd was black is purely subjective/opinion.
Finally, this is my final word on this subject on this thread. I mentioned earlier, as a business guy who has started dozens of businesses and employed hundreds of people I would have advised Rob Monster the founder and CEO of Epik not to have started this thread. Rob is a pretty smart business guy, but that doesn't mean he's right...he makes mistakes like we ALL do every day of our lives.
God Bless America![]()

Anytime a white cop kills a black man it automatically supports the racism narrative. When I write "narrative" I don´t mean to imply it is a fabrication. Anytime any police officer turns off his body cam it indicates he is conscious that he is about to do something immoral or illegal. However, it is obvious that most cops are decent moral people trying to do the right thing in enforcing the law. That´s why we have dash cam footage from a police vehicle showing other cops abusing their authority.
Another thing we must consider is that good people can become bad due to extreme experiences they have in life. A police officer will join the force because he or she believes they can make a difference in the world through that position. However, after years of witnessing the evils that people do and the injustice in the ¨justice system¨ can make them indifferent, heartless, callous, and hopeless. Many cops develop post-traumatic stress disorder, deep depression, alcoholism and some even commit suicide. I don´t know the statistics but I know it´s true. This is a very complicated matter.
Defund the police movement has a good case. Why not reallocate funds to social services that can help the average citizen as well as mental and emotional health of police officers.
I think there should be no stopping of protest (aggressive or otherwise) until everyone is equal.
It's really disgusting when just 1-2% of our population can dictate to the other 98% the way things are going to be. I for one as an outspoken moderate will do anything and everything I can to STOP the FASCISTS and ANARCHISTS1500 business's destroyed in Minneapolis-St. Paul. Is that the "aggressive" protest you want or do you just want to throw water bottles at the police?
What do you suggest we do with dangerous, racist people? BTW, the world didn't start with those businesses you mention. There have been much greater injustices.1500 business's destroyed in Minneapolis-St. Paul. Is that the "aggressive" protest you want or do you just want to throw water bottles at the police?
"Racism is Rare"....Quote from Will Smith, and you can take it to the bank. What do you suggest we do with dangerous, racist people? BTW, the world didn't start with those businesses you mention. There have been much greater injustices.
I say racists are no longer acceptable. You say destroying businesses isn't acceptable. Let's find a way to put a way to end racism and to end businesses being destroyed. One doesn't happen without the other.
That work for you? Or are you a good person living in fear of racists? Are you afraid to stand up against racists?
All this can happen in reverse too where bad, callous or indifferent people can be introduced to a system that's basically good and become part of the team. We don't need to be defunding the cops just to make way for a bureaucratic socialist solution. We've tried that with our federal government, and it doesn't workAnytime a white cop kills a black man it automatically supports the racism narrative. uh, okay??????I agree with you totally Mr. Pinkus. In fact, I think I will travel to West Covina and start destroying business's there. I hear that there are nothing but fat ugly slobs in West Covina anyways, so probably no one will mind.
Would you like to have me post a picture of one of those fat ugly slobs Mr. Pinkus. He is a public figure so he really can't do anything about it.
