Am I Sick??....A day without buying/registering a domain!

Hello,

Is it me? Do you other folks get nervous and anxious if you don't get at least one domain or two a day?

Most days I will bust a nut and get a domain or two or even a hundred (portfolios) and really "jones" if I don't.

I catch myself looking through back allies and emailing/pm unsavory characters...looking for that name.

I read many newspapers and visit websites and boards; constantly looking for domains that will drop today or 10 days from now!

Sure, I can use the money I didn't invest to get my wife a new microwave or gas for her car

I know I have a sickness....anyone else?

I am with you Paul. If I don't buy any domains, or at least run through a few thousand avails, I feel like I am letting "The Big One" get away. It happens to!

I can't tell you how many times I have put off looking through that last list and the next day when looking, I spot a gem and it is gone!

I need professional help.

I've stopped searching through large customized lists because it was literally making me insane.. crazy dreams.. etc I think searching through long lists of random words triggers the crazy part of your brain.

I also stopped looking because I can't say No to buying, but I also suffer from this, but the economy of the domain and other markets has made me stay away from looking just for the fact that I am spending so much renewing domains in my porft.

Agreed. Otherwise, you end up with a closet full of unwanted domains and have to have a yard sale to clean out your mess. At that point, you will be letting things go at bargain prices because you don't have time to spruce them up.

Take a breath, then start marketing and developing!
