I just recently bought the .com: "website design services" for xxx price range from a domain reseller. I'm hoping it will boost my rankings for my web design company I am constructing. I will probably host the site with this domain then forward my actual company's domain to this location taking advantage of the keywords. I have never spent this much on a domain, do you think this was a good buy? Why don't more people buy keyword domains rather than these LLLL.coms? To me there is need for 2 domains, a short business name you forward, and a keyword friendly domain that provides its location... Anyone disagree???

Some others keyword friendlys I picked up for cheap...
Are they worth anything?

---------.coms ----------
clipping paths
company website design
website components
window casing
gloss finish
uniform numbers

--------.net------------
school girl uniform

-Thanks

I think that as time goes by, the good keyword .coms will continue to provide excellent return for investors. The thing is that the resale market for keyword domains is much thinner and you need to show patience in your efforts to resell it. There is no question in my mind that your domain is worth mid $x,xxx or higher to another end user and it will be a strong asset for you to vault yourself up in the SERPs.

So you have to remember that most of the people on namepros are resellers and much of the the LLLL.com flipping that occurs here is due to speculation.

You have some other winners in that group as well and while you don't reference what "cheap" is for your acquisitions, a few of those should fetch in the $xxx area.
