Afternic VS Tdnam.com -- Which would you recommend?

I'm considering listing a domain on a domain auction site but I'm unsure which to use. I've reduced my options to tdnam.com and afternic.com. I've never used tdnam.com but they seem pretty good. I've tried Afternic and never had a sale (aside from their Bazaar). What are your experiences with it? Which would you recommend?

My only real problem with SEDO is that it take forever to get a sale on SEDO unless you fork out a load of $$$ to have it featured or whatnot. I was thinking of auctioning it but I dunno... SEDO is good but it's slow

Well it is same as Afternic. Afternic is even worse. It is a less common / trusted company. Their reputation is much worse. Less people visit their site. And buyer has to pay to submit offer, and seller has to pay to list domains.

I don't see anything better on Afternic. Absolutely nothing.

On that, I agree. Afternic was a waste of money. I paid $19.99 for a year's membersahip, about $19,99 more for an appraisal, at least $20 feature upgrades, etc. and my domain wouldn't sell for $100, although it was appraised at early $X,XXX (they tend to overvalue their appraisals, too). I guess my best bet is otherwise SEDO or tdnam.com. I think I might put it on both.

I would list at sedo (it is free) and if I had to vote between Afternic and Tdnam, I would go with Afternic 100% of the way. TDNAM is close to worthless IMO if you are trying to sell.

Sedo You only have to look at DNJournal to see who tend to be doing the most sales. (Not counting snapnames LOL)

Well, I think I'll worry more with SEDO I think I'll have them appraise my domain (restock.net) too. I'd still be saving $$$ considering doing so w/ Afternic would be about $40 (appraisal and membership)

Many say the same. I guess it's just the word of a pro that I'm looking for. I don't need a pro to give me a real valuation of my domain. I just want someone to tell me that my domain really has value. A lotta ppl say restock.net looks mid/high $X,XXX but I dunno. I don't want to sell this for $200 if it's really worth far, far more.

TDNAM provides little support for a sale once "completed", and there "success" emails are too easily forged/spoofed (Which has been mentioned in the past here and elsewhere).

Hmmm I think my best course of action is using Afternic and SEDO... I'm not fond of Afternic but I've heard they've had many good sales. I don't like the $19.99 membership fee but if it can get my domain to sell for at least early $X,XXX then I guess it'll be worth it.
