I have just listed some domains up on AfterNic and plan to list the same names on Sedo; from what I can tell both platforms are pretty good at selling domains, however Sedo are probaly better for international domains / terms.

However I have noticed their MLS / Premium programs where apparently your domains get seen a by a lot more people; however because this requires your domains to have a "Buy Now" price you can't list it on both places and hence the promised extra isn't looking so great now that you can only list on one marketplace.

So basically I'm just wondering what has everyone's experience here been? Does listing on both platforms perform better for you or just the one marketplace and using their premium offering!?

Also, do you find "Buy Now" prices work well or make offers?

Cheers!

you can always list your domains as, "Buy Now" at one place and "Make an Offer" at the others.

but for me, year after year, Sedo has overwhelmingly, delivered more offers and sales, along with some decent ppc earnings.

afternic is ok, but that little membership fee they had a while back for those cheapo auctions they used to have, turned me off. but I would never park there.

imo...

There's something you have to keep in mind..The MLS stuff only works with certain registrars.. If your domain is registered through DynaDot (for example) then you should be using SedoMLS because it's one of their supported MLS registrars.

Just look at the domain sales charts on DNJournal..There is no question that allot more sales come from Sedo as opposed to Afternic. However, GoDaddy recently acquired Afternic so I would expect changes are in the making..I would suggest listing them on both and if you want to use the MLS feature then look at where your domains are registered and go from there.

Some good information. :) Though I'm prety sure I read Dynadot was ok for both of them!?

Anyway, most my names are at Dyanadot or NameSilo with a half a dozen at Moniker and a sprinkling at enom & godaddy.
