question Afternic - receiving USD payments when in the UK

Hi folks,

I am in the UK and I have a US-based USD bank account, however, Afternic has told me that I must have a UK-based USD account to receive payments in USD, otherwise, I will need to suffer Afternic's currency conversion rate as they convert USD to GBP and then send it.

Is this correct? I'd appreciate any input from anyone outside of the US receiving USD payments from Afternic.
