March 7 payouts wasn’t issued because of autopayout issue.

Looks like it has been fixed
Got the LTO payout email.
I'm glad I wasn't the only one -- I thought the payout delay was because I changed it to GoodAsGold to take advantage of the 3% bonus. I'll see how long it takes to hit my "GAG" balance...

Yeah mine is being sent now. I’m so glad the buyer made their last payment. Would’ve been a shame if they missed that one.

Update -- I received the email this morning that payments were going out , and I can see the LTO Payment hit my GoodAsGold balance. Might have been earlier, I Only just checked now.

This could be convenient for paying my domain renewals and auction wins. Only thing I'll be missing is the CC Cash-back rewards. But if GD decides to extend the extra 3% bonus to send to GoodAsGold, I might be tempted to leave it that way beyond April.

I wonder why Transaction Assurance team is delaying the transfer for over 2 days, and now we're getting into the weekend!

This domain was sold on the 11th, and no update yet.

Hello,

Can you withdraw funds from GoodAsGold to crypto?

Hello,

Can you withdraw funds from GoodAsGold to crypto?

  • There is a USD$20 transaction fee to process the return of funds, which is taken from the total amount we return.
  • Only full balances are returned.
  • Funds returned are sent as checks; we will not wire funds back to your account (it should be inconvenient for you)
  • Requests can take up to 8 weeks to process and be mailed.

I am currently facing the same problem, I sold a name since 12th of this month, the only problem in my case was that they said my transfer didn't go through (Domain lock off already) that I should turn off my privacy which I've done. And till now I've been chatting with myself as it seems no one is on the other side of the transfer assurance box.

I am starting to miss the days of prompt responses..

Afternic is really FRUSTRATING ME for a deal I brought in..Buyer is pressing my neck and Afternic is doing worse..

I wonder why a simple transaction like this should take light years to get done.

If Dan.com haven't done a sharp job by concluding transactions in 1 day we would have thought this was something impossible. What is Afternic excuse for treating transaction like it's nothing and wasting time on simple things?

It's SAD..Save a soul

Buyer is still on me...

My Fast transfer payment was also delayed for week (sold 11.3 , usually take 1-2 days). But today looks like payment went through.

Mine is still pending. Have followed up with Afternic team on multiple channels.

Support team tells me that they're "actively working" on this - I wonder why something that should take 5 mins, is taking 6 days (and still not done).

I also have another potential sale which is "on hold" for 6 days now. I wonder if that's pending some kind of manual review as well.

Still no human response concerning this..

How long would this continue to fester?

I keep sending out mails and messages..

Zero response from the TA.

This isn't professional at all..

Reza so shortsighted..

The crazy thing here is that the buyer wanted Godaddy because he has an account there.

And now imagine, if I was doing push it takes less than 2 mins. Now I provided an auth code from Godaddy and it's been problematic.

And the name I just sold today, I obtained the code from spaceship and inputted and it's done.

Why is transfer within Godaddy that is supposed to be so easy now tug of war.

Godaddy/Afternic sure know how to frustrate it's customers..

I am really starting to get irritated by these "Zero Dollar Offers" on Afternic, especially as their numbers continue to grow each day. I have a Minimum Offer amount on all my domains for a reason, yet these yahoos seem to feel it's okay to go on fishing expeditions with $0 in their pockets, and Afternic is being complicit in the whole scam.

I realize how these hobos are doing this, as instead of using the lander or sales page to make contact, they just phone the Afternic sales department and request a price but refuse to make an offer. And the sales department then stupidly adds in a lead at $0, which is a total waste of their (and my) time.

Just today, I received two (cough) offers from Afternic, both with the standard "We have received a new inquiry on 'domain name'. Before we can start negotiations, we need to know your asking price." Each time I logged into my account, there was a big $0 in the Offer column. Yeah, sure, I'll get right on that, especially as the broker neglected to tell me in the email that there actually is no offer.

Imagine if you were able to make $0 offers on houses, luxury cars or yachts listed for sale and they all went directly to the owner. It would be chaos with every idiot in range wasting monumental levels of time with the owner having to wade through this crap. "Oh boy, 20 new offers just came in... and they're all for $0". But unfortunately for the gypsies, tramps and thieves, only Afternic would play their game, and no real estate broker would ever send a home owner a pile of $0 offers - it's just not acceptable.

Obviously, I just ignore this $0 hobo-bypass garbage but it would be a lot better if Afternic wouldn't pull this crap in the first place and require that any potential buyer meets my minimum bid before adding a lead. Either that, or include the Offer Amount in the email so I can immediately delete the $0 ones and move on.

And no, I have never, ever, ever made a sale from one of these $0 hobos, and I don't expect I ever will. They clearly have no money and feel my Minimum Offer is way too high, as otherwise, they would have gone through GD cart or Afternic lander and then made a valid offer for the domain.

Instead, their peanut-sized brains believe that by calling Afternic directly, this will provide them the means to somehow purchase my domain with the change they just found in their couch. Genius, pure genius.

Do you have floor prices set?

Do you have floor prices set?

No, but I'm not sure why that should matter.

I have a Minimum Offer set on ALL domains, but to get around this barrier, hobos call Afternic directly in order to start a fishing expedition using $0 offers. This allows them to potentially game the system (if you're dumb enough to respond to their scam), but I refuse to deal with lowballers like this.

If there is a Minimum Offer on a domain, that should automatically preclude creating a new lead with a $0 offer. It's just common sense.

My issue has absolutely nothing to do with Floor Prices.

I feel sometimes that this brokers collaborating with buyers and act in favor of them ! Trying to get the best possible price to satisfy them, NOT the sellers .

Check the expiry date of this domains that got offers to see if they are expiring soon or no , Sometimes interested buyers testing the water this way when domain expiring soon, thinking you may not renew and sell the domain for liquidation price .
So if domain expiring soon just renew the domain for TWO years not one , if domain has more than three month to expire, just renew it for ONE year more .
This way you give indirect message to interested "lowballers" to lose any hope for that domain, So buy it now or give reasonable offer or DREAM of it .

They don't see it that way.

A broker may still reach out with an offer lower than your minimum.

When a floor price is set, the brokers aren't supposed to contact you at all if an offer is lower than that.

I doubt it. as I've been told this by brokers and from other sellers/buyers on Afternic, as by directly calling Afternic Sales, it totally bypasses the broker. It's a well-known trick to get by the Minimum Offer while still attempting to negotiate. The key is not to engage nitwits like this.

And also, none of these are expiring anytime soon and I think the most recent expiry date is May 2027.

Then they don't how to do their job, especially is this "lower offer" is $0, or FREE to those who can't read numbers. You do realize that there is no offer, it's $0 because they didn't give an offer, because they don't have any money.

Just to repeat, this is NOT an offer, it's a known trick that cheapass buyers use to bypass the Minimum Offer by directly calling in instead of using the Lander or GD Cart.

When a floor price is set, the brokers aren't supposed to contact you at all if an offer is lower than that.

You don't understand what the Floor Price is and what you're describing is actually the Minimum Offer.

The Floor Price is the Minimum Price to Sell your domain and if someone offers the Floor Price, then it's immediately sold without notice. It's essentially a hidden, baseline Buy it Now.

This is a standard business term for the lowest price an item can be sold for, but here is a screenshot from Afternic describing what a Floor Price is and its implications:

1774061844571.png

I'm trying to be nice here, but people like you are reprimanding me when you have absolutely no clue what any of these terms mean.
