By popular demand, we have launched a dedicated feedback thread for Afternic, the GoDaddy-owned domain name marketplace.

We have created this thread as a way for you to tell us what works, what doesn't work, and what features you'd like to see at Afternic (please be constructive with your feedback). We're looking forward to hearing from the domain investment community to help us shape the future of Afternic.

We will also be sharing Afternic product updates in this thread.

How about only showing the GoValue amount if it helps make a sale, i.e. if it's above the asking price.

I'm not sure if the following has been mentioned before about the aftermarket tab on GoDaddy:

I don't think most regular folks will know what an aftermarket is. It could probably use a better, more engaging title like Premium Picks, Our Picks, Top Picks, etc.

It might also perform slightly better if it was next to Results rather than at the end. Tbh I think it would be even better to redesign the UI slightly, and just have these two tabs all alone with no other options. Maybe with the other tabs moved somewhere else on a different UI widget. That way the two main drivers of sales are the most prominent, with less noise & keeping sellers happy.

With godaddy There always be something to give you feeling of monopoly and tricks ! They put aftermarket at the end and unrecognizable !! for what reason ?!! only god knows !!

As below , HISTORY should be replaced with AFTERMARKET and put history at the end , That's the right & logical way .

This comes down to the threshold you set. In your payment settings, you can choose the level you prefer. Once that’s selected, we’ll hold payouts until that amount is reached (there's no specific time limit we're aware of).


We’ll put in a request for that, Bob. When an extension is already live at GoDaddy, it definitely helps streamline the integration. We’ll get that conversation going on our side.

As we said in another thread, the feedback on GoValue is hugely important for us as domain investor representatives to help inform our conversations within GoDaddy as we advocate for updates.

ty ..plz take care of add name box bug we talk by dm. u call small bug but maybe small but huge consequences. asd domain is very crucial and with bug present its ultra time consuming. the bug not small. the bug is tarantula bug sized really.

also I inform I tried few time in past download csv sheet because 50 name box not working. but csv upload always fail. I even checked on email with u and they said should work. then they said.. oh but u downloaded some old format.. how can I if I got only thing your site offers.

so u see add names 50 or csv need work on your site.

u neglect it or call small bug yet the most crucial funton on your site is this. add domains

Are there plans to accept the .living extension at Afternic. The TLD is promoted at GD with a very competitive price compared to other registrars, but I discover you can't list at Afternic.

Also currently there is an issue where the login screen isn't coming up in a modal window any more (is anyone else experiencing this, or maybe it's just an issue with my cookies). Instead it is displaying fullscreen and any actions taken on the previous screen are forgotten and have to be redone.

finally this irritating bug has been fixed

Can you make verification TXT less bugy?

I have a domain that was pending verification for several days, Afternic support claimed that there was a problem with the registrar with broken DNSSEC.. although the txt record worked fine with Sedo verification for the same domain.

I ended up not listing the domain at Afternic at all. I listed it on Spaceship instead.

@Ostrados This discrepancy occurs because the two verification services likely use different policies for DNS resolution. If a domain has broken DNSSEC (due to a lingering DS record at the registry), the service using a strict, validating resolver will interpret that security mismatch as a failure and refuse to return the TXT record. The other service, however, uses a more permissive, non-validating resolver that ignores the DNSSEC error and retrieves the verification record successfully.

You must remove the DS record at your registrar to resolve the security mismatch, which allows the stricter system to finally see the TXT verification record.

I Switch the domain to afternic nameservers and add 3rd nameserver for verification
Couple minutes later it’s done

Then you can switch back to your preferred NS

I have more than 300 domains and I got it about a month ago but since I don't point any domains to Afternic I deleted it. I got no love for a company continually on the upsell path and until that changes Afternic/GoDaddy are dead to me. Even if they buy Sedo still dead to me. I'll let them optimize my portfolio after they buy my Domain Training Course for $500 as I'm doubting they have many sales reps with more than 23+ years experience on staff so I'll need to train the clowns to at least be at my level before ya start playing with my portfolio.

I didn't receive that email, but last night I got a CSV file with my complete Afternic portfolio and optimization suggestions, since I was already in contact with Aaron about cleaning up my neglected account.

Afternic's main focus is on activating LTO and using the best possible LTO duration for commission discounts. They also recommend Request Price Lander.

Aaron is my new portfolio manager; he's diligent and proactive.
