Using afternic offer landers at this point is wild.

I've never been in one, but this must be what an abusive relationship feels like.

I'm not sure there are good or bad, as along with the brokers being overwhelmed with work, from reading Twitter X I think a major part of the problem is the growing "squeaky wheel" syndrome.

If a few "squeaky wheel" sellers keep calling Afternic all day thus monopolizing the broker team's time, these sellers logically get faster results (like sales completing in a day) compared just patiently waiting like a fool and assuming the system is fair and based on FIFO rather than SQUEAKO.

To be honest, the Afternic broker system is broken and is losing sellers tons of money, which should be driving everyone listing there absolutely bonkers.

That said, whenever I see a certain name on my dashboard I know the transaction is going absolutely nowhere....

Nope, I've tried messaging a few brokers that don't care to reach out to the potential buyers. They usually ignore you. They are either overworked or they are simply nonchalant and unprofessional. Not acceptable either way.

I guess after a few 'squeaky wheels" posted about pulling that trick on X, the resultant demand became too great to support it.

But it was definitely happening early on and I posted a couple of documented cases on here.

They are either overworked or they are simply nonchalant and unprofessional.

I think it's a little from Column A and little from Column B.

arent they paid by sales performances... I guess base per hour too but must be low no? u would thik they are pumped to sell no?

I think they are, but there are only so many hours from 9-5 / Mon-Fri, so not every seller is going to be taken care of in a timely manner.

The sale was completed on December 8th. They are still keeping me waiting. No response for days! Afternic is a real disappointment... All their employees are giving answers like robots. No solution!!!!!!!!!!

I wrote them everything via private message here but they did not care at all via Namepros!

Domain transferred on December 8! 4 days passed after the scheduled payment date! Super speed!!! My panel shows the scheduled payment as December 12. Today is December 16! I think they are sleeping.

How do you call the Afternic broker? I thought you can only message them on the dashboard.

I have sold dozens of domains. None of them lasted two weeks. But this last transaction took a strangely long time. Companies work for the better. The exact opposite happens with Afternic. Also, we all had a great example like Dan.com. They were closing it on the same day! They were finding solutions right away.

A new Dan.com is necessary for this market!

I don't think people will tolerate Afternic's support system any longer. Because waiting for days/weeks for a solution is annoying... The Dan.com team should give a good work lesson to all their employees!

Hello @GoDaddy - any eta on when GD will add .now to Afternic? Sedo allows it, and Atom allows it for premium listings. It's up to 7k regs in only 75 days since launch. Seems like it'd be a good add for Afternic/GD.

If anyone uses this, please share your experience. I don't trust anything new from GoDaddy and uploads are too important to have fail. Trust level zero but my fingers are crossed...

It'll also be helpful if we get a CSV *output* file, when the bulk process is completed. Also there should be a "Bulk Remove". Presently the only way to do this is, by using the "Replace" mode with all domains in the account.

The output file should have status of each domain - Success, Failed, In Review etc.
