By popular demand, we have launched a dedicated feedback thread for Afternic, the GoDaddy-owned domain name marketplace.

We have created this thread as a way for you to tell us what works, what doesn't work, and what features you'd like to see at Afternic (please be constructive with your feedback). We're looking forward to hearing from the domain investment community to help us shape the future of Afternic.

1) When will Dan be closing down and no longer accepting live offers from buyers?

a) What are you supposed to with post-Oct 16 offers on Dan?​

2) When will Dan nameservers be forwarding to Afternic as promised?

As this is Oct 18 and Dan remains a "live platform" with domains forwarding and customers able to make offers, your previous statements and assurances have proven to be incorrect, so I think we would all appreciate some updated dates and ETAs.

They do give you a checklist of items to supply (registrar outage records, WHOIS records, etc.) but as it was a smaller transaction, I just let it go, as I assume many others do as well.

Can you share what they said exactly? Because technically, the 'registrar outage' thing may indicate a completely wrong way of them doing their DNS delegation checks at time of sale. DNS delegaton should be checked from the root down.

I just got a response from Dan support and apparently the Afternic Migration is running late, so everything has been delayed to some date in the future that no one seems to know when.

Was there any solution provided for Pending Sync domains?

Afternic rep told me that the domain was actively listed and not to worry but when i visit the lander:

"This domain is registered, but may still be available."

Just had 85 domains go into review for no reason

If you try to buy the domain on the BIN lander, it crashes & leads to a "Error occurred processing link" page.

Too risky to use bin landers until they fix them, if they ever do.

The constant lander problems are now a standard feature of Afternic and I'm not sure they'll ever go away.

And if Afternic can't fix even the most basic functions of the site, how in the world can they be expected to add new features like Self-Brokerage or Descriptions?

And yes, Dan already had all these features and more, as well as stable landers. And GD killed it due to 'office politics'.

I Just tried a couple of random domain names with the BIN Lander, and they seemed to load to my cart properly (I did not continue with the purchase).

I am in the USA, and the names I tried to purchase from my own portfolio are registered at GoDaddy. Were the names you tested registered at GoDaddy or somewhere else?

I had 10 last week do that so I deleted them and re-listed them and now they are good..

Very pain full situation. This has happened to me also several times. very frustrating. Have to contact the support to get the domains back.

Dont we need to mention number of months to avoid confusion in the custom lander?
