By popular demand, we have launched a dedicated feedback thread for Afternic, the GoDaddy-owned domain name marketplace.

We have created this thread as a way for you to tell us what works, what doesn't work, and what features you'd like to see at Afternic (please be constructive with your feedback). We're looking forward to hearing from the domain investment community to help us shape the future of Afternic.

Smack a GoDaddy logo on Dan and send all leads to the Afternic broker team and done deal. Seems easier than trying to Frankenstein pieces of whatever ya buy into Afternic. I'm just done with them. If the listings work cool if not more MLS sales for Sedo. If I wanted this frustration I'd adopt a puppy to chew off all my chair legs.

I received an offer on Afternic and since I didn't respond due to being angry at Afternic like they don't deserve any commission from my sale the buyer has raised their offer twice in the last 24 hours. Still not at the point I would sell but silence has produced 2 extra offers so far.

I just notice this last night. All FT enable names at dynadot being greyed, when i visit the names it show call us / pay $119 broker..
I try re-add the greyed names at afternic (delete and relist) and confirm the FT at Dyna, Now all names lost the Premium and Verified badge.

It also not promoted when i search at Godaddy. Its more like i pay for those 5% boost so my names can't be found easily. If somehow i got serious buyer, they will use broker, imagine the profit from left and right.

I'm experiencing this now. Have you found a fix?

Send an email to Dynadot. I think they messed something up on their end with Fast Transfer. I'm having similar issues with my names with them - mine are all greyed out showing FT disabled even though Afternic shows them enabled. It happened when my Afternic account somehow became delinked and I had to relink it again.

Would it help to unlink the account and delete on AF? I've been at it with GD and DD all day. I'm losing sales I'm sure because of this.

Mine have been working fine since yesterday. Afternic ran an integrity check on my names, which sent Fast Transfer opt-in emails to all my domains on Dynadot. I approved, and then all my names were properly displaying and were purchasable, but in Afternic they were still showing as opt-in required. After about 2 days the status changed to Active; I have no idea if it just took that long for them to update the status or they did something on their end.

Afternic is like a Soufflé, works best when you don't touch anything.

In the Lead Center I can see that you keep pestering dead leads, I mean 10-20x "Email sent to buyer" for 1-2yo leads that never engaged or stopped answering after the first week, doesn't it contribute to the spam score and affect other, legitimate correspondence?

That aside, I would like to be able to preview these e-mails, maybe you could link the contents under "Email sent to buyer"?

I don't know how common it is, but I've had this alert for several years, in the old and new panel alike, while selling domains and receiving payments without problems.

Don't worry it's a common error.

I'm experiencing this now. Have you found a fix?

Currently there is no permanent fix for this, Dynadot already know this sync issue and working on fix.

What i do: Unlink afternic acc with dynadot, delete the name from afternic, add it back,confirm FT. I have to slowly delete and relist one by one, because another problem happen from our lovely Afternic, when i re-add the name it All goes to IN review status. it was generic name: makeweb.tld

Its take long time, but now my names starting showing FT status both at dynadot and afternic (remember, you need to see your domain lander/purchasable. since status at afternic or dynadot can't be trusted-not synced).

A good chunk (most) of my domains are showing the dreaded "This domain is registered, but may still be available."

This can't be good for business. I'm about to blow a fuse!

3 new names all in review for me too.

I have found a foolproof method to avoid names going In Review. No longer listing on AN.
Sorry, I know that doesn't help most of you, but you could fill a book with the issues on AN presently. I really don't think it's worth the bother. I think I'll be looking at NP landers, Sedo, DaaZ and whatever else I can think of. At least for a while. I have usually just had my names on DAN anyway, because dealing with them was so easy, but now that the death knell has rung for DAN I'm not prepared to start dealing with this mess at AN. I don't have the time or energy for that...

I decided to try something new. I removed all prices for my domains at Afternic, which should have triggered a price request lander. Now, 90% are pending review.

Competence is expensive, but incompetence is even more costly.
