Hello,

Well I am not afraid of buying even though I am trying my best to invest in one or two domains (because I don't have Enough budget to start like 💥)
What I am afraid is no one is going to buy it so I am going to start from square zero or just give up (I won't).
What I want to buy is unused domain relater to a name of person+ the nitch of his job title .com. If I email him and gives him an offer. I am afraid of rejection and just have this domain like doing nothing with him. In this case I will just sell it to someone else if he doesn't take it.
One other think I saw in site of expired domain is that I feel all best domains names are taken. I only find useless ones with zero back links and other table boxes with zero & one.
Is there other sites better to mine?
Thank you for your patience and help in advance.

Hi

if “person + job title “ didn’t already get their name, then what makes you think they would want to buy it from you, at inflated price?

this applies to majority of businesses, companies, services, etc that already have web presence.

imo…

Yes, he has a web site but it's not related to his name like others. I won't inflate the price even though he make good income.

Generally, I advise people just getting started and unsure what niche to target, to start with something they are already knowledgeable and immersed in daily in life. This gives a 10x better chance of being able to understand the buyers needs and communicate effectively with industry slang and real world examples that solve their everyday problems.

For instance, if you have been a barista in the coffee business for the last 10+ years, you may have better odds starting in the coffee niche, already knowing the coffee business, common slang, demographics, etc., making communications about coffee much smoother, like a first-language, and easier for a buyer within that niche to understand and digest the knowledge you have to offer them regarding the domain suggestion and brand building ideas you're providing them with.

Even with all ducks lined up in a row, there's still no guarantee you'll sell said domain to them, or anyone.. That's the risk we all take in this industry. Which is why, even if you feel you are knowledgeable enough to approach a niche buyer, you should still do more due diligence to understand the process, get familiar with their particular business model, make sure your domain is a solution to one of their problems and that your rebuttals are solid, for when they question your intentions and claims.

Unfortunately, there's no one size fits all solution and everyone does it differently. So it's important for you find what works for you, then rinse and repeat it, making tweaks to better it as you go.

To break the ice, since you're afraid of failure....

What are x3 things you are well versed and have vast knowledge in (E.g. career, hobby, collections, etc.)?

In 2011, I bought several expired domains for my SEO business. One day, someone contacted me via a proxy (Domains By Proxy) and asked to buy a domain back. I asked for $300. That moment is how I started domaining.

I'll give you my honest opinion.

Even if you buy 1-2 premium domains for $1000 each, it could be years before you see a return on your investment. It sounds like you might not have the financial resources necessary to invest in a high-risk asset (especially with very little knowledge of the industry).

I suggest you continue learning and saving money. If your income is not high enough, it might be worth learning an in-demand skill. And if you really want to sell English-language domains, I also suggest improving your English skills.

1. Your English is terrible, and yet here you are, wanting to invest money in an English language word business. Why do you think like this, hmm?
Would you start any other business before you properly understood what was needed to run it? No, so why do it with domains?

2. Your domain name idea is beyond terrible. As Biggie said, if the name you want isn't already taken, what makes you think that someone will buy it from you for many times the reg fee? Domain names have been available for around 35 years, plenty of time for anyone to have thought about your idea already and registered a bunch of names with that naming style.
Therefore, if such names are available now, it means no-one wants them because they have no appeal and no value.

You are yet another newcomer you wants to jump before they have worked out how to crawl. Its totally illogical and goes against nature and nothing good comes from it. Where did you get the idea to get involved with domain names?

My advice is to learn English, properly, before you think about spending any money registering or buying domain names. This should take you about 1-2 years. While you are doing that, learn also what makes a domain name valuable. There are many free resources on this site (see below) and elsewhere on the web so you are not short of information and valuable knowledge, knowledge that people who came along before you have discovered/worked out/tested and then applied it to their decision making.

There are millions of people involved in registering and buying domain names. A lot of them are idiots, simpletons and include those who think they can make quick profits without knowing what they are doing. All of these people fail and all they have to show for their ignorance and rash behaviour is a large credit card bill.

Don't be one of those people Zakri.

Thank you for your comment, Vertibox. I will do my best to improve my English language and my backpack knowledge about domain world.
My post was just to link my questions and action with the professional domaines. In order to conclude how I will do it in better way with less damage. And of course learn from failure attempts.
