.tv About geo domains.. I have a cunning plan

dont you think its a good idea ,if you have a big city geo..say hull.tv
what is hard to develop becouse its a big city and would cost bomb.
its a good idea to reg a small village next to the big city like i have cottingham.tv .

easer to develop less shops to go round the news is small fry
cat lost up tree things like thatonly one cinema not 7 small little footy club people more frendly to do interview in street.
then get you big town pointing to that.hull.tv...so the big guns in hull can see the possibilities for the name and i do less work and can develop more name faster.....good idea me thinks

i was only in the village two days and got some great news clips

now what next to oxford.tv

ok my site building is poor but you get the idea...

Developing a small village will be easier but there is far more potential profit in a City site than a local village site.

No matter what size of Geo area you are focused on you will still have the same costs and hurdles like:
Getting a site built, Finding Traffic, Finding Content, Finding a Income Stream...etc

Personally i' develop the City.tv before the Village.tv but maybe thats just me.

I dont think anything you do to the smaller village Geo's neart Hull will affect the value or the interest in Hull.tv though.

i am not selling cottingham or hull but i am think about tactic this for other names i am selling .when you go fishing you use bait to catch the big fish...same thing....

anyway just a idea i am toying with

The URL is hull.tv. Take cottingham off of there and put hull.tv instead.

Your site is hull.tv, don't confuse people. Go out and take pictures, or just blog about hull. you know the town, write about it. Tell people about it.

It will build up and then you can start selling space, videos, etc.

NEVER downgrade to a suburb if you own the main town.
