I just picked up abandon.net. Don't have any real intention of selling it, but I was curious as to what the domain experts here thought it's value could be. Thanks!

I would probably peg that name at around $270 reseller as this is what it was sold for today at Bido. As Abandon//com is also parked, end-users would deep pockets would undoubtedly go for the .COM version so your market is somewhat limited.

I still think it was a good pickup, but with a PPC of only $0.51 it will take time to recoup the expenditure. I was watching the bidding earlier and the domain went for approximately what I thought it would so congrats on the acquisition!

Yeah, I was hoping I didn't pay too much for it. I'm just starting out domaining and this was my biggest purchase to date. I mainly purchased it because I thought it was a cool sounding domain that I might be able to develop, or maybe down the road turn a profit on a resale.
Pardon my ignorance, but what did you mean when you said "PPC of only $0.51" ?

Enki, PPC of only $0.51 means that the average payout per click is $0.51. This is according to Google AdWords. Hope this helps!
