Ok, i've got another one for those of you guys that are part of Godady's back order service. If you have to register a new domain, 1st, go the the investors edge (backorder) and backorder any biz domain (price is cheaper at 7.95 vs com). then, you can now order an additional product for 3.99 so go register a brand new domain. Now go to your backorder section, cancel the crappy biz domain, and you have a credit available to use on any com backorder. Like I said, this will work if you are a member of their backorder service. Total cost, 12.19 for a brand new domain plus a backorder

I guess I am slightly different. I am content to pay $7.20 for a .com. Lets see jump through a hoop of fire, balance on 1 foot for 3 minutes, turn around 3 times and jump back through the hoop to save $1.11 hhhmmmm ???????

LOL my sentiments too hark. Then again, sometimes when you need to buy 20-30 domains at once it becomes more attractive. My time is valuable though and unless I can get the discount all at once for all the domains, I just go ahead and pay full price.

That is a different case. I do believe GD gives standard discounts for 50 or more in bulk. I reg names at several different places including Enom reseller account and usually buy where I get the best price/service but the GD so called loopholes are over the top.

I thought about getting a WWD account but with the exception of .info the savings ain't that great but may still just because the the reseller sites are not so slow as GD.
