As far as I know, the remaining 5l.com's containing 3 of the same letters have officially been bought out as of today.

Do you think we'll see an increase in demand for these types of 5L.com's?

How long do you think it will take to buyout the remaining 5l.com chips?

OK -- but there are many, many available for reg-fee still. Why would anyone pay $35-$50 when they could buy an analogous domain for $8? I guess what I am getting at is I am trying to think about if these names available for reg-fee today have a "bright" future lol. And how bright?

Pattern matters but so does "Timing" if everyone concentrated on buying out the rest of the 5L instead of buying today for $9.99 and selling tomorrow for $25 we would ALL see a greater ROI in January. $200+

What % of a premium grade 4L is a "meaningless" 4L worth? 25%? I don't have the stats in front of me, but if anyone does, it could be a decent indicator?

I think it's difficult to say what is meaningless and what isn't. There are 5L non-chips that have meaning based on pinyin words like Cu, Ge, Ba... and so on.

So to put an assignment of 'meaning' to 3mil+ chips, using letters that can be used as acronyms or words is quite the task.

On the subject of meaning, I once again asked the question about the Google translator to a Chinese domainer, and haven't gotten a response yet... but did get a response on the question I asked just minutes before. I wonder what's up with that, because it seems to be the general response everyone else gets, some kind of vague answer or none at all.

Look random LLLL.nets. My ink is still wet on the paper where I wrote some LLLL.nets to reg them, and they are already at $20+ (random LLLL.nets). Complete buyout of LLLL.nets occurred about 10-20 days ago.

That is a great point. There are many meanings which none of us may even know. Unless we have a professional translator on board to go through all the possibilities.

At the end of the day though, it is merely a commodity, one which is trending exponentially and growing in value. Those who invested will likely see quite a notable return.

Some still live at auction selling below price and some have BINS as well.

actually first two i reg them way back before better patterns even were bought out. didnt know what was good pattern at that time but figured i cant go wrong with 3 repeating letters. the rest some yesterday and some the day before
