Ok Here is what it is happening . There is a meeting in Xiamen this weekend and there they will decide about Bulk Buyout. All Big Investors are attending this meeting most of the people are thinking that there will be a bulk buyout before 31st March. May be another 1 or 2 weeks more but buyout is going to happen pretty soon and last buyout will be in bulk from chinese big investors.

It's just my theory but...

They can't grab as many as they'd wish. The best are all taken and a lot are in Western hands.

A buyout would only intensify this. The Chinese method would be to slow the market down (no buyout).

From this a lot get liquidated and even more get dropped. Both of these options create new opportunities for people with funds who missed the 5L boat.

It's just the way things go... people with funds will renew their 5L chips and see what happens in the next 12 months.

I told here already. Typical chinese style- they will do it in ONE SINGLE DAY and the boom, then all fading roses will be Blooming like never before.

So many of us think that, this is a small market easy to manipulate etc.. I just put all the numbers on Chaomi into excel to find out how big it is.. Last two columns on chaomi show number of domains and its market value.

So summary is on chaomi 23 million domain names with value 3.4 billion usd..

The total number of domain names: 22,892,672 approximately
The total market value of domain names: 22,171,760,000 (rmb) equivalent to 3,398,517,969 usd

Do you think it's a small market to manipulate? Not sure.. I am not stock exchange expert. Of course these numbers are the fraction of the stock market. Please state your comments.

This market is nowhere close to forex market but if you ask traders, they will tell you the fear of market makers is the beginning of wisdom

Negative = Our outlook become short term which is not good in investment world. We should not invest in anything if we are not ready to hold something until few years or our expected number reached when we can book our expected profit. Short term mentality is not good for life. We may gain less and lose more in short term mentality. We may try to sell something good to cover loss of something bad we have in our portfolio. Yes we should respect trend but our outlook should be long term even we may able to book profit in short term. In just matter of 10 days less/more our outlook changes completely from North to South or from south to north.

Positive = More volume means we can liquidate something very fast in case of emergency. Right now there are so many new investors in this area in last 1-2 years including me. More people means more choice, more volatility, move volume. When something becomes like stock market where there are so many Day traders who does not even know what company is doing or who does not even invest with some strategy, this kind of volatility and short term panic is normal because sometimes we win and sometimes we lose in this method.

I am also learning something new everyday in my life. I can't give suggestion to anyone but I can share my little experience or thought process keeping good intention with all friends. This is what I think. So please invest wisely and have long term outlook rather than short term outlook.

Any kind of investment is risky. There is no guarantee we always win everything. It is not in our control at all. But if we do some study and stick to what we believe while having long term outlook then there is high probability we may be happy with whatever we are doing.

I am just trying to share what I think is good for everyone. My intention is good for everyone.

The idea for most is that I register 1000 names at $5 average, then I sell 500 at $20 at least, use part of it for renewals for best I have and and pocket the income. He/she has not planned to shell out $8,500 for renewals, because the floor did not appear.

So, no, the guys at buyout did not buy with intention of renewing them for years with no sales.

Initially I thought I don't want to respond to this message. But then I thought let me respond because I consider everyone as my friend and my intention is good. So why not??

Nothing wrong in becoming fool by someone. It is wrong to make someone fool with bad intention.

Nothing wrong in getting cheated by someone. It is wrong to cheat with other person/

I am one of the most laziest person you can find in the world. I am fool to. So many people made me fool so many times. I am happy with that because it is not in my control what others can do with me. But it is in my 100% control what I can do with others.

Am I cheating with others with bad intention?? NO.

Am I making someone fool with bad intention?? NO.

Did I learn from so many mistakes I made in life ?? YES

Am I trying my best I won't repeat same mistake ?? YES/NO

I can control what I can do with others but I have no control what someone else will do with me. I can try to escape or avoid it but still no control.

There are total 3.2 Million Chips possible in 5L.com

35% of 3.2 Million = 1.12 Million

Remaining Chips at the moment = Approximately 360000 or 11.5%

1.2 Million - 360000 = 760000

What do we call people who purchased First 2 Million Chips??

If we consider all people are wise who were part of first 2 Million Chips then I am combination of both.

I have both kind of Chips without LNPQR (Part of first 2 million) and with LNPQR (Part of last 1.2 Million)

Me = Wise + Fool ??

I will consider my self fool because if I consider myself fool then there is room for improvement in me. I am ready for that. I like to improve myself. I want to keep trying. I will always keep trying something new in life. Result is not in my hand but "To Keep Trying" is in my hand.

So in Stock market who are wise ?? People who purchase Stock in IPO or After Market??

Everyone are wise as well as fool.

Everyone take risk in life to do some investment and off course everyone wish to make profit. That is the only reason people do some investment with expecting some good ROI.

I am not sarcastic with anyone because I consider everyone as my friend regardless if others feel same way or not towards me. I am just trying to share what I think.

2.8 Million 5L.com Chips already got registered which is huge number compare to 6N.com buyout and any other buyout in history. So far everything was under few thousands to few hundred thousands.

Only 365000 left which is very small number compare to 2.8 Million already registered. Everyone makes strategy for their investment. Nothing wrong in it. As I said earlier it is trendy item. Huge risk involved in it. Buy it if you can afford to lose and make some profit sooner or later and keep moving to something better quality. Quality is Quality end of the day there is no alternate to it.

I understand your reasoning Teradomains. However being such a big numbers diluite the rarity and so prices. Whoever thinks or get fooled to others to get rich because you own a few 5L .com, that is unfair.
The truth is that the Chinese are buying domains name as if it is a currency ready to be sold at anytime anywhere in the World. If the value of a triple repeating 5L. com is let s say 50$, they are ready to buy/sell for that amount. Probably the last meaningless 5L do not have a potential to even hold at 10$ this is why the slow down of the buyout. Even the CHIPS more or less premium is just a convention: you need both a ten dollar of 20 dollar note. They have agreed that certain patterns have more value then other. 95% of 5L will never ever see a website on them (that at the end of the day is the pourpose of having a domain).
We just are following the flow, and so far it worked.
Anyway this is called speculation.
