I see a lot of posts asking for this type of information, and also a lot of posts with inaccurate information, so I thought I would make this available to everyone.

If anyone sees a problem with any of my statistics please let me know...

This report was pulled from the zone file which exempts any domains without nameservers. Which as best as I can tell runs about a 1-2% average.

We agree to disagree but time will prove me right i'm sure.

These had $0 value a year ago and will return there in the coming weeks as they are dropped en masse. They are already at as good as 0 as of today anyway.

the peak is gone, and there are plenty of these domains available right now

the one that have some value right now, are the ABABA AABBB AABBA ABABB ABBBB AAABB AAABA pattern, only 2 letters combos

I kept like 90% of my 5Ls and dropped all my 7Ns that weren't CHIP
even if they had triple repeating 8s in the pattern.

Ahh this thread is brought back to life from death lol.

Lost me $10k, thank you 5l chips it takes quite some doing to lose money when in the last year or so you could have put money in stocks, bitcoin, real estate even gold and you would have made a packet.

I just kept my 7N Chips like 999XY88.com and others beginning or ending with triples. From 5Ls I will keep only the ones which received 1 - 2 inquiries in the past 12 months and the ones ending with city codes.

I've kept all of mine. Well, actually had just 3 of them, 2 of which are AABBB as well. Will watch them either sliding down further or correcting to some higher values - that's the benefit of having a small number of better names from the point of renewal. And, a good lesson was learned regarding playing with something without intrinsic value - given I've bought them for much more than $12 (thankfully not a critical loss anyway).

Its a sinking ship, although I can see the ones ending with W at Godaddy still fetching 20 - 35 USD.
