The domain name join.com was sold for 40,000 $US on Sedo. I think it's worth much higher than that :imho:

The word join on the internet can be twisted to mean anything, I think that is a very low price for it. I'd say it could have got over $10k more minimum.
What's the commercial potential of it? What can you sell with that name? How long before get full ROI?

Sounds like it could be an affiliate program to me or something of that nature. It's a good one word .com and I think both the buyer and seller will walk away happy. Perhaps the seller will be a little more excited over it.
I'm sure someone wouldn't go off and pay $40,000 for a domain without having an idea for developing it. Has anyone tried going there yet? It's parked on sedo :P
