I need some advise. I was messaged about this domain just now with a high xx offer via email. Its hard to assertain the person behind the email. I really think thats an insult for this domain, but I would like your imput on this as well. Should I counter or simply ignore? Where do you think the ball part figure should be for this domain?

Don't sell for under xx! xxx-xxxx is the range IMHO. Wait a few years till the technology develops to get its full potential

I didn't counter, just politely told him the domain, at least to me, was worth more.

The reply, how much more?

I told him I was not prepared yet to let the domain go for under mid xxxx, and he countered with $300

I don't think i'll continue this with him as I can see he won't go to where my expectations are on this. Thanx for the help though.

Yes it may be the .net, but I can maybe only think of 6 names it this field that comapre, and I may be holding the 2nd best extension, but i'd rather have it than not have it for $300.

I would have to say HDplasmaTV . net isn't worth that much, and yours is highly speculative. That isn't even looking at the fact that the HD version was registered just 4 months ago, and it had spent 6 months available after dropping.

I would try to get a deal done with this guy. Don't fall for the staged hype in the 3D thread. Now is the time to sell. This is what we saw especially with .tel. In and out while the domainer hype is still there.

Take it. Go through an escrow service and have the person pay the fees.
