I am thinking of running some lists ending in 360, 365 and 247 at the end of domain name.

which do you prefer / have had the most success in closing sales ending in 360, 365 & 247.

I like 360. It means "all encompassing" as in if something is 360 that the website named this will give a 360 degree view about whatever keyword is in the domain.

    360 (82,861 domain names registered)
    365 (69,928 domain names)
    247 (38,347 domain names)

Of course the numbers above it goes without saying. many will be domains where these numbers are placed anywhere in the domain. but gives you some idea.

why 247? why not 24 for 24 hours?

I have seen some domains ending with 24 sell, but 247 is a far more popular format in usage.

You can't own an exclusive trademark for the amount of degrees in a circle, which is where the meaning comes from.

Sounds like you're relying on common sense to govern trademark laws.

I wouldnt risk it; "247" seems less in use, less likely to inginge unknowingly.

I had a bunch of 247 domains but let them go or did not register. went with 24 instead. shorter is better? imo. or at least that's the saying.

    What is 24?

    Kobe Bryant's #?

Seriously? Better to be specific. 247 is better.

360 is a very popular term. It has been a very popular term for longer than anyone here has been alive. Who do you think owns it? Xbox?

No, usage is better. 247 is used a lot more than 24 to indicate something is always open.
The 7 part means every day. So it is open 24 hours, every day.

Would not get a domain with ANY of those numbers anyway unless it would be Casino related such as Lucky 7.

    Xbox Microsoft, they love that 360;

they're the ones i fear most, Brad.

They also own Office 365 feels dangerously close.

    And Qihoo 360 Technology Co.
Remember? They paid $17 million for the 360.com domain, brand.

It is possible other countries might use "24" more than "247" but in the US 247 is pretty popular.
As in "Open 24/7". That is a term you hear a lot.

Sorry, but no one can own exclusive rights, to the degrees in a circle, in a saying that has existed for generations.

Exactly. 247 is more ubiquitous with everyday life than "360"
Come on. 247 is one I feel more comfortable fighting defend in court.
More common to me than 360... Maybe 180, but not 360 imo.

    365 = Days in a year.

These are popular branding terms in which many domains have been sold, and many businesses exist. There is a Golf 365 here for instance. No one can claim exclusive use to these.

I went with 360. I like that it represents the full view. All angles covered. Complete. From start to finish. Yin and yang.

Of course, I went full circle to come to this conclusion.:-P

One set of numbers this poll has forgotten is 123 nothing more basic and well known than that.

It conveys the idea of something simple as in "simple as 123".

Also I like 360 because in my "journey of discovery" as far as 360, 24,247,365 I noticed a lot of very good (I'm jealous) domains ending in 360 owned by D*om*ain*Pro*ducts.com.

    and they own 14,000+ domains.

    https://viewdns.info/reversewhois/?q=domainproducts

and full disclosure they own a ton of 247 domains too. many where 247 is in front.

If you owned DataCircle instead of DataCube, you could have owned it ;)
